I just needed to update my complaint. When they sent the laptop out yet again to be fixed, Tina and I were able to "jiggle" the cord and get the unit to recognize the power cord together. The unit turned on and she agreed it was a definate problem with the power cord connecting. They sent the the laptop out, and then sent it back to me water damaged!!! They said that the warranty didn't cover water damage and that I would have to pay to get it fixed! There was no water damage when I dropped it off, Tina turned it on right in front of me when I dropped it off. I had them send me the pictures of the inside of the unit and had my tech guy at work look at them. He said there was so much water damage on the inside of the unit that there is no way it would of even flickered a light let alone turn on. I am so upset about this. My son needed this unit for his advanced private school and I can't afford to purchase a new one. Now Comp USA is closed and I will never get made whole on this. I hope that Karma comes and kicks them all in the *** because they are a horrible company!
