Comp-Recycle.com ANOTHER RIPOFF Plano Texas
I wish I had heard about rip-off report before I bought from this guy. I purchased a DVD/CDRW drive for a Compaq laptop. When I filled out the info for the order it says that he would e-mail me with a final price and let me know it's going to ship. I don't hear anything for over a week. This afternoon the mailman says I owe him 46 bucks. CASH!!! No checks. I give him the money figuring the guys e-mail just got messed up. When I open the package, the drive is a DVD/CDRW for a laptop but not the one I ordered. It's also only functional for the DVD's and wont burn. Too many errors, and the door doesn't shut right. such is life, I thought the price was too good to be true. Thank God I didn't give this guy my Credit Card or bank account info or he'd be in Tijuana tomorrow with my money!!
I'm gonna contact Plano PD and the postal service like a previous person from your postings suggested. Anyone who has a similar problem should do so as well.
