On Sept. 14, 2009, I tried to make a $20 withdrawal from the ATM in the town where I live. It declined so I tried again. I knew the money was "available" in my Card balance. It declined again and then said "out of order". There was also a $.90 withdrawal fee each time. The FIRST $20.90 was credited back to my card. The SECOND one has STILL NOT been credited back to my card!!
I have already filled out the investigation papers and returned them. I have completed, signed and returned the same kind of papers twice. Now stay with me here because it gets confusing. They said the reason I had to do it again was because the FIRST set of papers was for the FIRST $20 transaction which, incidentally, had ALREADY been CREDITED back to my card. The lady had told me she would do an  emergency credit to my account on Monday but she obviously did not.
As of today, it still has NOT been credited back to my account. I called them, spoke with Crystal, and she said they sent out a letter of credit on 09/21/2009 and that the credit was SUPPOSED to have been done that day but obviously, it was NOT! Crystal told me she is sending ANOTHER request for credit up to wherever it is it goes and that it will take approximately four days to get results. In the mean time, Oct 12, 2009, I STILL DO NOT HAVE my $20.90 credit from the ATTEMPTED SEPTEMBER 14, 2009 transaction on . Hopefully, it won't be long now.

Well, as of today, I STILL have NOT heard anything from this company about the money that is owed to me (told about above). Guess what I did discover, much to my surprise? This evening I was entering the "pch.com" sweepstakes "search and win" by searching through their search engine which gives me an entry for the $10,000,000 giveaway this month. It doesn't really matter what you search for...just something you are interested in. I searched "U.S. Direct Express" and wow! What did I discover? Ripoffreport.com. Several reports have been filed by consumers complaining about various issues and discrepancies with this bank, Comerica. I am so glad to see this! I have already registered with ripoffreport.com so I too, can file a report against them! Yippee! Well, it may not produce any results. It may not help my case any but I sure as heck can let 'em have it somewhere that they can't shut me up or just tell me something to get rid of me! I do know one thing though. My Social Security check is going back to direct deposit! This direct express debit Master Card is for the birds!!!

Comerica Bank Still Has Not Replaced Disabled and Widowed Young Mother's Money!!

#2Author of original report

Wed, April 04, 2012

Well, today is April 4, 2012. I still have not received my money back from the original problem that I filed a ripoff report about. At this point I very seriously doubt I will ever get my $20.90 back. A lot of you out there might be saying, "$20! Come now, you need to just forget about that small amount of money!".  I assure you that if I was able to be working and making enough money to forget about $20, I WOULD BE! I still miss working! I definitely miss the money I was making when I was working! There just doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it and to be quite honest with you, I just don't have the stamina to fight it anymore. Yes, $20 is a lot of money to me. Especially toward the end of the month and the grocery cabinets and refrigerator are bare! Folks, please don't think I am writing this hoping to receive anyone's sympathy because that definitely is not the purpose here. I am just trying to point out how a big corporation can so very easily take advantage of a disabled and widowed young mother. My son was 8 years old when his father passed away from cancer.  I didn't have the luxury of "throwing away" $20, you know what I mean?

Anyway, I hope that other folks have been successful at getting their money back from Comerica Bank. I am grateful to ripoffreport.com for at least giving me somewhere to tell about my experience with Comerica Bank. If my report is helpful to someone else in getting their money back, I am very happy to have helped. Thanks for reading my report and have a great day.
