Comcast Cable needs to shut their business down or get shut down. All they do is rip the general puplic off and nothing is done about it. I was given a deal of 10 dollars a month for only channels 2 thru 13 which was a rip off anyways but, had to watch something. When I got my first bill, it was 80 dollars, I refused to pay it so, they handed me over to the collection agency. They need to be shut down, their like used car dealers, they make it sound like a deal but, then they hit you with as is, no warranty. Crooks are what they are and something needs to be done.

What itemized charges were on your bill, or did they just say you owe us $80 for something?

Usually you have a connection fee, plus possibly the current month's charges and the next month in advance.

What does your contract say?...you read it, right?



Just cancelling got you where you are now.



BTW, I don't like Comcast either, but I don't think you helped yourself much.
