We received a letter two months ago saying that I won an IPAD. I did not fill out any cards about this. I am too smart to fall for all the bs. Today I had to do business in this area. So I said lets see what they have to sell us, Maybe we can get a nice vacation out of them for cheap. This was too good to be true, it surely was.

I took went there yesterday with DH. They kept telling me on the phone, Meranda says We are NOT a Time Share company. She must have repeated this ten times. She kept on saying to me, I must be there for the presentation, Which is 90 minutes. After hearing this ten times, you wonder is she telling you that THEY Are a time share and putting this into your head to tell you this?

I was there for 2 hours 15 minutes with Eddie Adams, but he changed his name 3 times, from some Spanish name to Eddie Adaze and then again to  his name was Eddie Adams. I remember him trying to sell my husband a car at Car Fax years ago.

He used to be a car salesman for Car Fax on Roosevelt Blvd. he tried to force my dh to buy a car that we did not like for the sales. He maybe able to screw others but he did not pull a fast one on me, I was too smart for him. he was a yappy man.

He said that the BBB says that they have an A plus reputation which I found out that they have several law suits against them plus 11 violations on them.

I am not saying that what they are doing is good, what i am saying is that this company is a RIP OFF to others to force people thinking that this is a true place. My friend got suckered into this company on her wedding to find out when they got there the hotel was in a hell hole in Mexico instead of the all inclusive she said she paid for at 159.00 a week it cost her well over $1000.00 for a week in a rats infested hell hole.

He talked so much about his family life tried to find out about us. He got a call from his daughter he says that his  nonno has breast cancer, he tried to cry but I caught that, I am not a fool.

I told him I was an Author and he wanted a copy of my book, Do you know my personal friend who also writes books. I told him there are 1000 of us writers locally.  He wanted to know how much money that I make. I said its well over 100,000 a yr, he said with that why come here? I said because I wanted to see what you have to offer. you keep on sending me letters and I wanted to see what you have. I am NOT an author. I do not sell books. I wanted him to believe that. So he knows where I am coming from.

He said that he and his wife Marsha Barbonco are going through a divorce and that his family is going to meet his new girlfriend tomorrow in Orlando where he comes from at his mothers house.

sorry but I was not interested in this, HE showed us his tablet and said the one HE was going to Give to us is the best one on the market a 8.0 its more like a 2.0.

You can not do much for it, except read emails or google search, play games. Its not an IPAD Phone Tablet its some cheap product.

I did not expect to pay for a time share for 1 week to cost me $14,900.00 Which he kept on saying that this was cheap to stay at their places vs a hotel. I can get a nice suite at a cabin in NC for 1 week for less than what he was telling me.

He wanted to lock us into this, I said its too much money then his price dropped to $12,500.00  I said this still is too much then he said the price will go down alittle more to 8200.00 then he dropped it again after speaking to his manager for 2400.00 with 95.00 down its called a 3 yr trial. with some black out dates, to add christmas, or a cruise i would have to pay an addtional amount of money to this, like an additonal 4000.00 more. He left and came back and says his manager says to give it to us for alot less.

He said do you like to pay with cc or check? Do you have anyone of these. I said I do all transactions by the bank in Cash. I do not have checks, I do not own a cc. he wanted to go to the bank with us today. The banks close he said at 5pm. They dont close till 6 on Fridays.

He said there are different plans the one that is the life one is 14,900 have No BlackOut dates, so you can use it for Christmas and Thanksgiving the most traveled time of the year. Then he said that Easter and 4th July is not as good as the big holidays but you can use their places when you can. I said this is a Time Share. He kept on saying no its not its called Vacation Travel per week.

He said that the plans are 1 week anywhere in the world that they have access too any hotel or rooms even Mirabay in Madiera Beach, Fl for 159.00 for a whole week. I called Mirabay they said they have nothing to do with them. They screwed their people out of alot of rooms and that they only use their picture  not their name.

He was neverous talking to me. I guess he never got someone so intelligent to talk him down and someone who knew about this company before.

I said your company is a scam... He got nervous and I said this place is not a true place, that there is no money for this.

What stupid fools these scam companies think that we all are? I did the speel but I did not think that I was going away with anything so great. You must make a combined salary of 40,000 plus. in order to go there, There was no one int he office. The place was dead. They put on a Johnny Carson tape to us to watch, take us into a room for one on one with a hispanic man who wants to try my MeatBalls and says I must be a good cook.

I showed him my license and he said this does not look like you, so its your mother? Who is he kidding??? He said does this make sense you can only get cruises by our company for 7 days for less than 350? You can not do this. I told him. Yes I can. I got a 9 day trip coming up from Miami for 285.00 pp.He said that was not true. he kept on forcing us to sign and said that we have 90 days to get out of it, I said to him this is not gonna work. They asked us if we gamble we said NO, cause we do not like to throw away our money. He asked when we go on trips do we stay with family and friends, I said yes... That way he does not bother us. I know about this company. I work for a Mystery Shoppers, I was told to do this to check this company out as they are the complete Scammers. The young people working there is a joke.

Talk about cruises, he said You can never get a cruise for 7 days for less than 350.00 a week. I have NCL and Carnival is having cruises right now for 178.00 for 7 days... so do not lie to me, This is whats going on. Then he said Do you always talk for your husband does he not have a say. I pay all the bills in my house my husband talks, then he wanted to know what kind of work he does. ITs top Secret We can not discuss his job. Its military... he was getting scared you can see that this man was looking up to everyone passing by...

I declare my entire speech is the gods honest truth. This company needs to be disbarred from getting other person sucked into this... This IS A TIME SHARE even though they said they are not fifty million times. they are.

I say lets run them off... I am sending this letter also to PAM BONDI our State Attorney to report them. They need to be stopped. To contine to harass and take money from people who do not have it. thanks for This company to help us to make a report on phoney companies trying to screw the American people out of alot of money!!

I purchased a Platinum Membership from Grand Getaways (Global Getaways, Inc)in Independance, OH in March 2003. I paid $2443 ($1995 membership fee, $299 administrative fee, $149 annual dues)and have renewed it yearly 2004-2005 ($149), 2005-2006 ($180). That's a total of $2,772 I have paid. I have never used it! I was just now going to use it, but it seems they are out of business!! What the hell is that? That doesn't seem legal to just shut down and not refund peoples' money or provide another means to use their product. I would love to hear any ideas you or anyone else has to try and resolve this.
