Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My daughter received a letter by a realetor on August 19, 2013 telling her my house had been sold and I needed to contact my bank or eviction notices would start in 5 days. The letter was dated August 14, 2013. I am the only person on my mortgage. I tried contacting my bank who is CitiFinancial on Thursday August 19, 2013 and the person I spoke with said my property had been sold and was shocked when I told her I was still living here and had received no notification of any procedures being started. This woman told me she was speaking to her supervisor and they were putting a rush on this situation and to expect a call within 24 hrs but no call came. I recalled the bank on Monday August 23, 2013 and spoke to Anita in mitigations who again rerouted me to recovery where I spoke to a Ms Overton who told me she had my imformation in front of her but She was not the person I needed to speak to and sent me to CitiMortgage who said they had never heard of me and sent me back to imitigations. I spoke with Michael in mitigations who said Ms Overton in recovery was the correct person I needed to speak with and that she had ALL my imformation. This process took 3 hours. I then called back on Tuesday August 24, 2013 and the circle process started again lasting another 3 hours. I told the mitigations representative I was going to contact the New Hampshire Attorney Generals Office as well as Ms Overton. Ms Overton in recovery did not answer her phone but I did get her voice mail. I left a message asking her to please call or email me ASAP. I did not hear back from her so on Wednesday August 25, 2013 I called her again and her phone just rang and rang, I let it ring at least 30 times to make sure it wasn't a call build up0 to get the VM and nothing ever picked up. I then contacted the Attorney Generals Office and filed a consumer complaint report at 12:35am on August 26, 2013. I received notification from that office that CitiFinancial had been contacted on that same day and had until September 8, 2013 to respond. On Monday September 1, 2013 I received another update from the Consumer Complaint Dept. that the Bank had responded and where instructed by Consumer Complaints to contact me and resolve this issue. I have heard nothing from this company at this time, but checked My County registry of Deeds religiously since 1st contacting the bank and nothing appeared until today saying that CitiFinancial turned my Foreclosed mortgage over to CitiCorp now known as One Main in my town on Friday August 30, 2013. I am still living in my home and am recontacting the Consumer Complaints Dept. with this update, but want everyone to know about this Unusual Reposession and that I'm going to fight this company ALL the way.

Were you behind on payments?

I'm just curious as to whether you were behind on payments or in default in any way - or did this just happen out of the blue, for no reason? What is the status of your foreclosure now? Your story intrigues me.
