My dealings are with a number of customer service representatives and Mr. S. Shaw, V.P. of Citicorp Credit Services, Inc. (USA)

In March, 2003 I regrettably joined Debticated Consumer Counseling, Inc. who, in turn, negotiated a payment plan with Associates\Citi. Shortly thereafter I received a letter from Associates\Citi accepting the terms of the agreement which resulted in an interest rate of 9.9% and monthly payment of $30. In July, Associates\Citi broke this agreement with no explanation or notice which resulted in an increase of my interest rate to 27.99%, an interest rate allocated to a loan in default. Shortly after, realizing on my own that my interest rate had been increased to this ridiculous rate, I contacted Debticated Consumer Counseling, Inc. requesting they contact Associates\Citi and have the interest rate adjusted to the agreed upon 9.9% rate and have the back dated interest credited to my account, the amount of the back interest being approximately $120.00.

In the following months I made several attempts to instruct Debticated Consumer Counseling and Associates\Citi to honor this agreement with me, but without success. Debticated and Associates\Citi have neglected to fulfill any of its obligations regarding this problem. Since paying the credit card off in full, I have contacted Associates\Citi several times on my own behalf and explained in great detail to a number of Associates\Citi representatives the history of the account since April. I have heard a multitude of different and conflicting answers and explanations. I was promised return calls from the Associates\Citi Credit Counseling Department several times, but I was never called and there is no way for me to contact them personally. In my numerous conversations with Associates\Citi, I have been given incorrect information, treated in a rude and harassing manner, and been given the run around to a degree I have never experienced before by any other company I have dealt with.

Now, Associates\Citi is sitting on money that should be released to me, money that is rightfully mine. The last representative I spoke to on December 10, 2003 told me that unless I had Debticated call Associates\Citi there was no way Associates\Citi would give me this money. Again, I have tried a number of times to get Debticated to call Associates\Citi. Associates\Citi's representative said there must be a reason Debticated will not call. Maybe you were never with Debticated. The only way we know that you were with Debticated is for them to call us. Appalled, I told her that I have six months of statements and hundreds of pages of paperwork proving I was with Debticated, which have all been copied and sent to my lawyer, and that I would be happy to fax them to Associates\Citi. She declined. Furthermore, Associates\Citi has been receiving payments from Debticated since April. Not from my personal account, from Debticated's account. A month after paying this account in full, I received a letter from Associates\Citi describing that I defaulted on my agreement with Associates\Citi and Debticated, after I payed the card off in full! A letter stating that collections on the interest, late fees, and full payment would resume and that the account was in default. Soon after that I received a letter that stated that my account has been in good standing since may 2003 and that it was not in default, but since July, 2003 I was being charged the default interest rate of 27.99%. I have had to call Associates\Citi and go through several hours of explanations and phone transfers to get absolutely no action and no resolve. I wrote a letter to Mr. S. Shaw and have had no response.

My dealings with Associates\Citi and Debticated have been horrid. BEWARE OF THESE 2 "COMPANIES"!
