Complaint Review: Circut City - East Northport, Long Island New York

I been with circut citys firedog for only a few month since than I have been verbally abused by the store director i was promoted to inhome and since the inhome wasn't making $$ so the store director put me on the tech bench. said he was going to cut my pay saying i dont deserve it cause of customer issues half of which i had no knowledge of.

I told him not to cut my pay in which he said i can terminate you right now I can do that I can do that in which there is no human resources personel in the store she shows up once in a blue moon and is very difficult to get a hold of.

Also keeps saying ur job depends on it like he has some sort of control over me when i talk to him about issues or he has an issue about my 1 weekend a month he claims he has no coverage yet ther are 3 technicians (myself among the 3) and he cannot change the schedule. as a reservist in the armed forces i have that 1 weekend obligation since I had my battle assembly in november this has been happening.

Not only do my issues go unheard i lack the proper equipment to get the job done in which it was brought up to management several times not only by me but the technology supervisor as well. I dont even know how much I am getting paid now.

I tried to call circut citys hr line for employee issues i get a recorded message. also they are so focused on the north star habits (intregrity and some other stuff they fill l my co workers with) they lack any themselves. I am called in on my days off sometimes in which overtime or time and a half isnt given to me.

I dont even get a break i am told to tough it out in which by law i am supposed to get a break (sometimes i get my 1 hour if not i have to work straight through). If intregrity is so keen to this store director why did he have 3 bottles of pino gregrio ( i cant spell it but its an expensive wine) sitting on his desk when no alcohol is allowed on the premesis(which is dated 12/3/07 in which i saw the wine in the evening hours on his desk with the seal unbroken ).

I also have pictures on how the computers are kept in a disorganized & unsafe manner in which peoples computers have been stolen in the past due to circut citys incompetence.

also the city advantage isn't circut city at all its a company called assurant(which is based in dallas texas) that actually makes peoples damaged laptops worse than when you first send them in and desktops or never sends that battery to the customer, or can never find a persons waranty information. I have pictures ready to back up my claim regarding how the computers are stored unsecured. also your products dont go to assurant at all. ( it goes to companies like banctech pcmedkits and a few others so you dont know who has your laptop/ electronic device in which laptops are missing for months at a time).

anything else you want to know let me know. I have filed dept of labor complaint and contemplating on suing the company for abusive labor practices, verbal abuse & for violating the FMLA act 1993 .

also there is never a manager around when you need one in which they hang up 235 or dont pick up (the manager on dutys phone ext its the same at all circut citys). this has left severe effects on my all around well being. as well as me almost never having a day off without people from the store calling me.
