Complaint Review: CIRANI CIGARETTES STRATOSPHERE HOTEL AND CASINO LAS VEGAS HILTON - LAS VEGAS Nevada

Cirani Cigarettes Inc. is a company who is owned by a 72 year old woman named Cirani Drake. She has a 50 something year old lady who helps her run the company by the name of Julie. Let me begin by saying these women hire WITHOUT ANY INTERVIEWS. They call you and tell you what day you start and you train for about 2 hours before they send on the floor to sell. The girls they hire speak NO ENGLISH and most if not all are probably here illegally from Bulgaria. When I got a call back from JULIE she did not ask me about myself over the phone but instead it was more important to her that I was Bulgarian and not American since quoting her "we like to only hire bulgarians, they don't steal." Stunned at this I was desperate for a job so I went in to work anyways. What I witnessed was RIDICULOUS! They had these women who speak no english fill out the daily paperwork that showed their daily sales quota and at the bottom of one of the paperworks there is a little box they have to check and sign next to stating that they received MINIMUM WAGE today. THERE WAS NO HOURLY PAY WHATSOEVER, NO PAYROLL, AND NO PAYCHECKS. BUT THEY SIGNED ANYWAYS.

So having said that, whatever these girls make in tips varying from $100 to $1000 daily was TAX FREE!!!!!! Everything they make goes straight into their pockets with the exception they pay CIRANI a $14.00 fee for the day for use of the cigarette tray. And when you first start working for Cirani they make you pay for your cigarette costume with a fee of $100!!!! Which any employer I have worked for in the past if a uniform was required the company provided it. Another thing the entire time I worked there they NEVER ASKED ME MY LAST NAME OR SOCIAL SECURITY INFORMATION OR EVEN IF I WAS A LEGAL RESIDENT OR CITIZEN.

I cannot believe and I am disgusted that these major casinos support this kind of business. Casinos Cirani provides cigarette girls to are Las Vegas Hilton on Paradise rd., Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, Aladdin(Now Planet Hollywood), and Cesear's Palace.

At the time I was employed Cirani had these Non English Speaking Women working at the Stratosphere and Hilton. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS WOMAN AND ALL THESE OTHER WOMEN WORKING FOR HER HAVEN'T BEEN CAUGHT BY THE IRS FOR TAX EVASION.

I quit this job after a very short time because I am an honest person, I believe living in America everyone should pay their taxes and I could not handle working for these CROOKS any longer. It was too much illegal stuff going on. I don't know how other countries run businesses, but in America and from all the other jobs I have worked for I have NEVER seen these things.

I forgot to mention these older ladies in their 40s and 50s would starve themselves and mentioned I needed to lose more weight if I want to work in this business and I only weigh 120 pounds!! These people are crazy!

STOP STEALING FROM OUR GOVERNMENT!!!

CIRANI CIGARETTES AND EMPLOYEES STOP EVADING TAXES! DO YOUR PART FOR AMERICA!!!! OR CLOSE THIS HELLHOLE OF A BUSINESS DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!

IRS WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN ALL THESE YEARS!!!! GET ON IT ALREADY!
