I have no idea where CIC Credit monitoring got my credit card information. I would never order a credit card report. All I did was charge gasoline at EXXON. Are they selling the information?

Credit card companies share their info with business partners, unless you indicated up front that you want to opt out. So these cases of chrages showing up from out of the blue, are getting more common. Contact your credit card company and tell them you want to opt out of information sharing.
