CIC Credit Monitoring Services ripoff Orange California
Today, February 27, I checked my bank statement online and found a charge from CIC Credit Monitoring Services for 79.95. This was news to me. I have never heard of CIC Credit Monitoring Services, nor would I spend 79.95 on their services(I did check their website after calling my bank and getting the charge removed and canceling my bank card).
I did report this company to the FTC. I hope they are investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I also hope others decide to report this company to the FTC. You can find their website at www.ftc.gov. As more victims of their fraud come forward with complaints, maybe CIC Credit Monitoring Service will get moved up on the list of companies in the FTC sights.

I hope you have changed your online bank account number, and recommend you change numbers on ALL other accounts, credit cards as well, because now they have access to that information. I just read another report where an employee of the company states this account information will be "floating every where". I don't know what that means, but it doesn't sound good. Try to determine how you got that charge, because this could happen all over again. I also recommend that you direct your online bank to The Rip-off Report, so that they can have this information. This would be a great help for other victims, who have accounts with them as well. Treat it like theft, and change everything, because they have been known to bill people A FULL YEAR LATER for the same amount, if not more.
