Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
FreeCreditReport.com - Consumerinfo.com - CIC Credit Monitor Serv, from Orange County California.

Their are Out-Right lying to T.V & Online consumers!

The Ad makes a clear statement: "Get your Credit Report for Free!"

CIC Credit Monitor Serv upon the completion of you filling out their online credit report request accompanied by your credit card information a immediate charge to your credit card or account of $1.00 is made.(that action does't make it free!)

That opens the door for your account being charge the $79.95 at a later time.

God knows, when their so called affiliates gets this information

what they will do with it?

Secondly, Their require you to provide them with very personnal

information (unneccessary to get a credit-report) which promotes and leads to idenity-theft, and is a counter productive measure against idenity-thievery, that they claim to be fighting or monitoring against.

( what assurances if any are they providing to us the consumer that they are not crooks!)Their track-record?

Looking at their track record, one complaint is to much!

The Patriot Act!

I would image that the F.B.I and Home Land Security would be very interested in finding out if they are selling these information and more importantly to whom, are they being sold to?

A red flag in my mind was raised when, after doing everything that was instructed to do by their web site!

I still did not get my credit report.

And to make matters worse, when I called their customer service

to find out what was the delay!

I was spoken to rudely,

I asked to speak to a supervisor, was place on hold for a full 30 minutes before the same ill mannered representative returned, she asked me if I still wanted to remain on hold and she hung up the phone. BIG-MISTAKE!

I immediately, made a called back to CIC Monitor Service, at this time I cancelled my membership, I had the representative give me her employee idenity #. Said thank you, but no thank you!

It took one hour and fourty five minutes for me to completely become a non believer of CIC Credit Monitor Serv of Orange County California.

With a sense of betrayal, I felt the need to do something

while I wait for the thirty days to come to it's end.

The so called tial period! (Don't forget I cancelled My membership within a hour of making contact)

I notice my Computer was still on, I decided after the fact to visit BetterBusinessBurea.com to investigate if any Good or Bad reports had been made against CIC Credit Monitor Serv.

What I read, sent Chills up and down my spine.

I knew that a fight is looming!

I immediately called my credit card provider, filed a notice of cancelation.

CIC Monitor have showed a trend to defraud its online consumers.

Judging from their track record, I expect that at the end of the thirty-days tial period, my credit card will be charged the $79.95 regardless of my cancellation a hour into the process.

I don't worry! I made sure That I'm documented with a paper trial, from a notice of my cancelation to my credit card provider to getting the idenity # of the CIC Credit Monitor Serv representative taken the cancellation.

The saddness of these kind of online behavior, leave a good industry with some after effect that slow its progress.

Those who are practicing online fraud, indenity theft.

Remember, you can not take-it with you, but you do take your name. (thief, crook, parasite etc....)

To my fellow victims: sue, sue, sue, sue!

It's the only voice that our system provide!

Its the only one that these parasite hear.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
