Chuck Lanzarone I am a disabled senior and told Chuck i had a simple project. I want the job completed correctly or my $50.00 returned as i provided materials and labor. He left a mess as well and is now avoiding all contact. I have been ripped off!!! Denver Colorado

Chuck advertises as a handyman. I called and he showed up later than stated on March 11, 2018. He quoted $100.00 to put up plywood panels on the small west side of my covered deck. I am a disabled senior and told Chuck i had the plywood panels. It is a simple project and he requoted for $50.00 cash only. He showed up later than he scheduled on March 12th, had no screws or nails, so my 79 year old neighbor lady brought him screws and nails and showed him how to attach the plywood to the inside of the deck. He screwed in 9 screws and told me to go buy a 9' tarp and hook screws and he would be back to use those materials to enclose the deck. He then aggressively insisted on being paid right there and now in cash! I asked him to write on the receipt "Install Wind Barrier. Due to Client: Will install 8' tarp (not 9' as it measures) and hooks"...Since then, Chuck has avoided all texts and says he'll call when he is on his way back to finish the job. That was over 5 days ago! I want the job completed correctly or my $50.00 returned as i provided both materials and labor. He left a mess as well and is now avoiding all contact. I have been ripped off!!!

Robin called me requesting a barrier be built to help stop snow from the west side of her mobile home ( red flag #1-Trailer Park). I told her it would be $100. She said she could only afford $50 (red flag #2-she did not pay $100, only $50!). I agreed to do the job for the$50 as a favor. She advised me of her mental disorder/psychological imbalance in an apologetic way (red flag #3-and a GIANT one!).
I performed the work using existing items/materials & provided screws and fasteners and had to stop because we needed tarp/shield to finish it off. I asked her to call me when she got the tarp and I️ would come within 48hrs to put it up/finish. She paid me $50. She called back a day or two later and I said I would come in the next 48 hours.
She called & texted me 10 times in 1 hour like some kind of an OCD Monster. I finally had to tell her to "stop calling me and I’ll call you when I can give you a time”. She got mad and filed this report along with calling the local news and consumer advocates. I have dozens of quality references that I can provide to anyone calling me for work.Bottomline, no more work for crazies in trailer parks!?
