I drive a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 truck. I bought this truck new back in 2004.

Up until last year I owned and operated a motorcycle shop in the town of Sebastian FL As the economy got worse so did my business which led me to close and seek work else where. I have been working on and off for the past year and a half doing anything I can to make ends meet.

I contacted Chrysler financial the first time 3 months ago when I was a little over 2 months behind. I told them I could give them one payment on that day and set up for the next payment to be automatically with drawn from my bank account in 2 weeks, then I would be caught up, they said no. I am now five months behind. Two weeks ago I talked with Chrysler Financial again and said that I could pay them everything I owed them to make me current which was over $4000.00 and they refused any partial payment of any sort , they wanted payment in full of the truck which is around $16000.00 or the truck.  I purchased this truck new in 2004 for around $38,000.00 and been making a $705.40  a month payment since. Have talked with several people at Chrysler and there is no one willing to work with me. Granted I have not made all my payments on time but I have always got myself current up until the  last 3 months when  they have been willing to work with me.

It's sad that taxpayers have bailed these company's out and they want to re posses our vehicles let alone not work with us when we are down and out.

By god your right. They took a bail out so we should all be able to just pay when ever we want. That will be the right thing. That will get their financials where they should be so good americans never have to bail them out again. Better yet they shouls just let everyone have cars for free. Yeah thats it we already gave them money in the bail out.... free cars.

Sarcastic much  yes. but I don't know what a goverment bailout has to do with people not making their payments.

yes it is sad situation. but the bottom line is no cares. they probably sent you a cure letter and if you don't bring the account current by the cure date. they can ask for the full amount. my company does that but they don't enforce it as long as I am in touch with them. before you let them take your call an attorney and look into filing a chaper 13 to keep you vehicle as you have invested so much in it.   GOD BLESS everything will work out for you. If you have had the truck this long it is obvious that you are trying to keep the payments up

They probably got tired of working with you and you not living up to your end of the agreements.
