While in the process of filing chapter 13 bankruptcy protection, Chrysler Financial decided to repo vehicle that was in the "13" So I decided to let Chrysler "EAT IT" and went down the road and purchased another vehicle. Chrysler Financial DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ALL THEY THINK WE ARE IS A BUNCH OF "CASH COWS." I have financed many a vehicle with Chrysler Financial BUT NEVER AGAIN!!! I would tell anyone that would even consider financing with Chrysler Financial is to "RUN LIKE HELL!!!" And find another financial institution. Chrysler Financial Is a Rip-Off "JOKE" Also Chrysler Financial is "BROKE---BUSTED" they are owned by a "holdings" COMPANY

I leased a Jeep from them, among one of  the several vehicles I have leased in the past through my business.  I have never had a problem with any vehicle I leased except them.  I kept documentation. They had three payments June, July and August. Called me 20 times a day, I repeated they were sent and not returned to me. Well on a Friday, in the mail, I get a "POSTCARD" from Chrysler and my checks.  Stating to issue them and change who they are payable to.  So I called,  well where were they all this time? Sitting on someones desk while you throw me in to default??? I got a bunch of crap and the person who signed the postcard no longer works there, blah blah.  Told me to overnight the checks back.  So Saturday I go down to the PO, and overnight the checks back.  Sunday at 2AM they repo the Jeep.  I called, what the hell?  They said the never got my payment when I called at  around 11AM Monday.

(The "reissue the checks and who they are payable to"... Who always has problems using their pay on line and their web page? I sure did, so I went in late and got hit with fees. So I wnt to the dealer to make the payments.  Then the dealer sent me a letter (which I kept) and said make the payments payable to these people at this address, they also take the payments. Which I did, those payments went to chrysler who inturn took three months to send them back to me to reissue. The dealer had no idea why they werent just cashed and payment made.)

Lied again, I pulled up the routing number on the internet and it was signed for by them at 7:45AM.  Again, they had no idea WHO that person was???

Long story short, I made my payments, they had them for three months for some reason didn't cash them mailed them back WITH A POSTCARD, then repo the jeep.

I had to pay for towing, the repo, the late charges (?????),  storage...

Will I ever do business with them again ABSOLUTELY NOT.  I hope the go in financial ruins.

It is entirely their right to protect their interest.  If a repo is in order to do that...a repo from somebody who DID NOT keep up their part of the deal to make their payments on time...then it is what it is.  If they violated the law in reference to your BK then discuss it with your attorney.

Chrysler Financial, nor any other lender is a charity.  Yes, they are in it for the money and thats why you were a customer...for THEIR MONEY.

The fact they may be owned by a holding company has nothing to do with anything.  There is nothing illegal, immoral or unethical to have a corporate structurization that way.  You clearly do not understand what you are talking about and are simply upset they took the steps to protect their security interest which they HAD TO DO because YOU didn't pay your bills on time.

Having said this, I can tell you it is understandable to not be a "happy camper" about financial problems.  Complaining about it isn't going to turn the situation around.  If you have the ability to use a computer, use the English language, then you have the opportunity to turn your situation around.  Its not easy but you have the capability.  You're going to need to bust your a-- to improve your cash flow even if it means taking an unglamorous job or working more than one job.

At this point, the choice is yours.
