Christine Favara Anderson is represents herself as a "hybrid publisher," partnering with the author to publish book, which she claims includes marketing (upfront feeds are "paid" for marketing, as stated in the contract). In fact, her publishing company uploads files of the manuscripts to Create Space, putting out shoddy work that is not consistent with market standards.
The extent of her "marketing" includes posts of the book covers on social media, with promises of book placement in major retail stores (including Target, Walmart, Costco, etc.) Royalties promised to several authors published under her former publishing company: Christine F. Anderson Publishing and Media, were never paid. In fact, royalty checks were issued, bounced, and promised to be reconsiled as a direct deposit. This never happened. In addition, she asked for large amounts of money from these same authors to be released from their contracts after bounding their checks and failing to perform as contracted. In addition, Christine F. Anderson claimed to have brain cancer and various other diseases, none of which were confirmed (in fact, investigation by authorities suggested these medical complaints were also false), in order to garner sympathy from her authors to avoid demand for payment of royalties due.
Christine Anderson was reported to authorties by several authors. She went quiet for a period of time, but has returned with a new publishing company: Sage Wisdom Publishing Company.
Writers beware. Please stay clear of Christine F. Anderson's businesses. She has record of felony mail fraud in California. She served time in jail for fraud. It is unlikely her cons have ceased. Authors are advised to steer clear of her and her company.

Christine F Anderson AKA Christine Hankins defrauded a lot of people in Los Angeles years ago. She has had several police reports filed against her, so the prison time she served was only for what she did regarding the SEC and the couple's life savings she stole. The rest of us little folks whom she defrauded out of our identities, money, etc. saw no real justice.
She is using the book publishing as yet another scam. She has no empathy for anyone. She has used her "I have cancer" story before. She did it in Los Angeles years ago and she is doing it again. She does this to gain sympathy and as a way to overcome people's boundaries and earn trust so she can rob you blind. She oftenchanghes her name and the latest last name for her at the time fo this writing is "Hankins" She is well versed in scamming people out of money. She often bounces checks, can;t make good on payments,etc. She claims Bi Polar Disorder, but no one knows if it's true, and even if she did, it's a cover up for her bad behavior. Her current publishing company is Sage Wisdom Publishing. She most likely changed her name and her "company" name in order to hide from the comments and clal outs to her bad behavior so she could be free to scam again. She is an animal. She might be a human biologically, but she is not. She is a nightmare of a person and she steps on people wherever she goes. I only speak from experience as years ago I was also a victim of her scamming. Stay far away from her. Do not publish with her or give her any money or any personally identifying information as she will use t to further her criminal intentions.
To Christine: You can keep running but you CANNOT HIDE. We will find you, report you and make sure people know who you really are until you draw your last breath on this planet. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later.
