Child and Youth Services York PA To me they lied York PA
My daughter passed away on April 6, 2018. Grandkids were custody of CYS prior to this. A few days later CYS called me wanting to know if I would be a resource to my grandkids. Yes I told her She came out and we passed all the clearances. She told us that the grandson could sleep on the couch as we only had one extra room. I said ok We wne to The Meadows to get our grand daughter after being treated for suicide watch after hearing about moms death. We brought her home and then chaos started. It was 5 different agencies coming every night of the week. Trying to her straigheted out and inschool. Plan my daughters memorial and yet missing work for the third week as we los my stepson a week before my daughter.
No time for mourning. It was one thing after another after putting my husband and I thru HELL and no time for mourning they kept telling her she can go live with her brother. She does not need to stay with us. One agency does not know what the other is doing. CYS had teams coming to the house while my grandson foster mom was talking to the kids attorney about getting my grand daughter to live with her. Totally diffrent stories from each agency. Syenna used pappy debit card but to CYS its ok because we CANT disclipine children anymore. Finally when we wne to court on June 27, 2018 CYS told the judge that I asked to be removed. NOT TRUE.
I told her on the 15th when I got home from work and shes sitting on the bed with my grandkids with out my knowledge of her being there. I told her if you are taking her on the 27th then do it now. Break my heart now now intwo weeks. She told me to go get counseling as she walked out to her car. I missed days from work and pd 100.00 for her RX's, missed pay from work for the time I had to atke off to take her to counselng ETC. Now we are behind in bills Plus when we gor our last check it was for 148.0 We had her until the 27th. Not a right check. I sent CYS caseworker a note and her supervisor. No response.
They lied, mulipated us, told judge I said somerthign that I did not. Now my grand daughter is trying her best to get back to YORK in the bad area. Now CYS has told her that pappy and grandma are not very good people to be angry.
They have had 3 provisional license on them and they are no better now than then
