Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been charged late fees and "Administrative fees" that total in the hundreds of dollars. I was never told that fees would continually be assessed if I was late each month.

I had a serious employment issue and asked that they work with me. Instead they continually added to the fees due. Its unfair to penalize someone who has been unemployed, or under employed.

Thier motto is "The Right Relationship Is Everything". They sure don't make sure that the relationship is good. The relationship is that you owe them money and they are going to get it and as much more as they possibly can.

File Your Formal Complaints Against Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation

#2Consumer Comment

Sun, March 28, 2004

Dear Consumers & Friends: This message goes out to our friend Robert who was abused, harassed, and exploited for benefit of unjust enrichment to Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation of Columbus, OH. Robert made payments on his house for 10 years, and Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation crafted a scheme to strip him of his equity, his life investment, and his dignity, not to mention his mental health. I am currently involved in my own grievance against this greedy Corporation. In this instance, they had conducted some hanky-panky with mortgage payments, making unauthorized impounds, and assessing late fees to extract as much additional financial consideration as possible. The tactics of greed are but so obvious. Of course, they threatened to damage my credit if I did not acquiece (bow down) to their Corporation's demands. Let us get our duty straight, as a responsible and proactive consumer, we all have a duty to ensure that we are treated fairly and with integrity in the marketplace. No entity, corporation, or other has an ethical right to abuse and exploit, to threated and harass. If you have been subjected to unfair, deceptive, abusive, and fraudulent mortgage lending practices from Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation, I urge you to document and file your formal complaints immediately with any of the following agencies. Senator from your State and State of Ohio Offices of the Attorney General Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio (care of Andy Clifford) Local Department of Consumer Affairs Federal Trade Commission Chase Manhattan Bank USA, N.A., Executive Headquarters (New York, NY)(Park Ave.) Play a part in stiffling corporate greed and exploitation. Help protect your hard-earned wages and life investments from unjust enrichment. Fight back against threats of collections, fines, fees, etc. etc. It is reasonable to assume that this company wantonly engages in this type of abuse all across the country--anywhere that it executes mortgage contracts (Promissory Notes) within the States. Keep the updates coming to the site and file your complaints. We can help in returning the favor done to our friend Robert. Chase Has Won, But The World Will Know

The mortgage company has won. They were sucessful in taking my property from me. I was given a chance to follow a plan set up by Chase Manhattan, but less than a month later they decided to go back on the deal set forth. I sent in the next 2 payments, only to have them sent back. I was tyhen told that I was in forclosure and given less than 45 days to come up with more than $3,000.00 in order to start a "new" plan. I was unsucessful in raising the necessary funds and lost mu home of 10 years. As I said before, Chase Manhattan obviously does not care about their "small and insignificant" mortgage holders. I suffered major stress and anxiety over this situation. I guess this is just the cost of doing business with Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation, where "The Right Realtionship Is Everything", unless you publish something on this website. Once I published the first report, my "relationship" with Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation was systematically terminated. Imagine that happening??? I never did, but now I know.

Another Casualty of Chase Manhattan Mortgage

I have fallen to Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation. They decided to forclose on my property giving me less than 30 days notice to come up with nearly $3,000.00 to recover from the event. They made me a deal and plan to follow, then the very next month sent back 2 payments, thus backing out of the deal after this report was published on this website. I was unsucessful in saving my property that I had for 10 years to the very month. The entire company can sit back and celebrate now that they have taken away the dream of yet another small and "insignificant" homeowner. I truely believe that "what comes around, goes around". Everyone that had a hand in destroying me shall one day be faced with something of equal or greater peril. One day they shall be in a similar position and will know what it is like to suffer the pain, stress and humiliation that I went through. I shall not seek revenge, however it shall happen. I would love to have the satisfaction of knowing that justice has been served, but I may never see or hear of it. But I know it will happen.

Welcome to the New World Order ..you to the cleaners

Welcome to the New World Order where everyone is identified by a number and governments and corporations promote a fascist agenda to control the People of the World through unfair laws and the world economy. You signed a contract with Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation and now they are taking you to the cleaners. Like a ripened orange, they are squeezing you with their financial death grip until they can extract the last bit of juice out of the fruit. It is the money and the greed and the power that drives the monster. In America today, it is the power, greed, corruption, and war-mongering that has been planted into the soil and air we breath. The People suffer, but they are expendable. Note the deaths of soldiers and civilians in Iraq. See the dismembered and disfigured soldiers on return from operations in the Middle East. The basic principles that were founded with this nation have been put asunder. Our freedoms have been supplanted by the Corporate bloodthirst and pursuit of capital enrichment. People need to be aware that the chaos and disorder in the World today is not a chance event. These developments are very predictable. Beware of the Corporations that expand their tentacles to all reaches of the globe, exploiting and oppressing the People. Chase is just one instance of corporations that operate under the same cloak. Economic freedom and personal empowerment are the only solutions to slavery against the masses. This is real and time will prove these points more true. Regards, The Sentinel of Faith

It would be in the companys best interest to help the consumer

#6Consumer Suggestion

In order to help the consumer /"the customer" also known as the person who has chosen to do business with Chase Manhattan, you should help so that your company will not take a loss. In a bad economy even the largest of companies can not afford to take too many losses. It would be in the companys best interest to help the consumer/ customer instead of penalizing to the point of no return. Someone with authority needs to review the policies in place and see what can be done to keep the consumers from failing, which in turn causes losses to the company. Its a form of loss prevention if you will.

You signed on the dotted line and now they are taking you up on the agreement

If you read the Note that you signed when you took out your mortgage you will see what the late is and when it is assessed. There is nothing there which states due to circumstances which I deem important that they will not assess these fees. You signed on the dotted line and now they are taking you up on the agreement that you made.
