Wrongfully Fired CGS a IBM partner ..need help in Chicago
Hello to anyone that can help me. I Samuel Jackson was hired with a company called CGS a IBM partner in march of 2000. I send my resume and was hired.While I was in training on the applacation it ask if I every been conviced of a felony I check the yes box. I guess they over look this information for a month. In april 2000 I was call to my manager office, he had a higher manager on the phone from New York. The guy from New york said that "this is not allowed here. Your fired and told the manager that was in the office to do the paper work and exscort me out of the office.
Later I was told by another employee that works there that I was wrongfully fired, Because I was working in good standing and they send a memo out earlier some years before that no one can be fired for a conviction 7 years prior to hire. My case than was 8 years old with no arrest.
