These crimal-minded person along with others who have not yet been arrested have been ripping of Americans with poor credit history, promising the credit cards with 0% interest for 3 years if they pay a processing fee of $249-$399. In October of 2002 they were prosicuted for frauding Americans of over 20 million Dollars. And they are back ot it again. This years they a taken over 12.5 Million dollars from Americans looking to rebuild there credit.

They work under several different company names including

Centurion Financial Benefits, Guardian Financial Benefits, Spectra Financial Benefits, Integra Financial Benefits, Sureway Financial benefits, Simple Choice Financial Benefits, Oxford Financial Benefits and Prosperica Benefits.

File complaints with---Toronto Police's fraud squad, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Competition Bureau. Just Google the names and email the appropraite persons.

Police shut down two Etobicoke telemarketing offices and one Calgary, Alberta location earlier this week in connection with an alleged credit card scam.

70,000 VICTIMS

The operation, which is said to have started in 2002, allegedly defrauded 70,000 people in the United States of $249 (U.S.) each under the pretense of obtaining guaranteed credit cards with $2,000 limits.

Police said its operators used several company names including Centurion Financial Benefits, Guardian Financial Benefits, Spectra Financial Benefits, Integra Financial Benefits, Sureway Financial benefits, Simple Choice Financial Benefits, Oxford Financial Benefits and Prosperica Benefits, to target American citizens with bad credit.

The Toronto Strategic Partnership in Deceptive Telemarketing, Toronto Police's fraud squad, Ontario Provincial Police, the Competition Bureau and various other organizations were involved in the investigation.

YRP PARTICIPATES IN TELEMARKETING RING ARRESTS

Members of the York Regional Police Central Fraud Unit assisted the Toronto Strategic Partnership in

Deceptive Telemarketing and its partners in arresting members of a sophisticated cross-border telemarketing

ring which, in turn, shut down two Toronto telemarketing rooms.

On Monday, September 26, 2005, members of the Toronto Strategic Partnership in Deceptive Telemarketing,

which includes the Toronto Police Service Fraud Squad, the Ontario Provincial Police, Phonebusters, the

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Greater Toronto Area Commercial Crime Section, the Competition Bureau,

the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Federal Trade Commission, the United Kingdom Office of Fair

Trading, the Ontario Ministry of Government Services and York Regional Police, executed several search

warrants which resulted in the businesses being shut down. At the same time, an operation in Calgary was

simultaneously shut down by the Alberta Partnership, who also executed a warrant.

York Regional Police assigned 10 investigators from the Central Fraud Unit and #1 District Criminal

Investigation Bureau, to assist in the execution of the warrants.

It is alleged that from 2002 to 2005, a telemarketing scheme was set up and perpetuated in Canada. The

targeted victims were mainly U.S. citizens.

U.S. consumers were contacted through direct telephone communications and/or through the Internet and

were offered a guaranteed unsecured credit card with a credit limit of $2,000. The low interest credit card had

0% interest on purchases and no annual fees. To complete the sale, some consumers were persuaded to

divulge their bank account information so that an advance fee of approximately $249 U.S. could be withdrawn

from their account. Consumers made the payment and no credit cards were received.

Toronto Police investigators believe there are more than 70,000 victims who were defrauded of millions of U.S.

dollars.
