Cemex, Inc riped off deposit, work never done Garfield Heights Ohio
Cemex, Inc was hired to install a driveway at our home on July 19, 2004. We had a signed agreement to have the work done, however after reading over the contract again later that day, it we decided to cancel the job with this company. The contract stated we have 3 business days to cancel.
We called Jim Emerson the following morning to let him know we had changed our minds and to tear up the $700 deposit check he had in his possession. I checked at the bank and was informed the check had actually cleared on the 20th, which is the very day I cancelled. My husband and I contacted Jim, he informed us we would have a full refund within 7-10 days. We have not received the refund or even a return call from anyone to date. We've left messages for someone to call us every day at different times, but so far no one has bothered to contact us to inform us of where our money is.
