Overpriced bridal alteration shop. Charges high prices and does no follow-up fitting. For the high prices charged you would expect more professional service --- no eye for the fit. Poor customer service. Save yourself the hassel and go somewhere else.

Hanging in the dressing room of my studio are my policies. I have a satisfaction guarantee that states "All work on gowns is guaranteed until such time that the gown leaves the shop. It is YOUR responsibility to assure that YOU are satisfied with the work BEFORE you take your gown with you." The person that filed this report did not follow my policy. She did not state her name on Ripoff Report (which is against their policy...see a trend here?), but having had only a handful of unhappy customers in 6 years I know that this report was filed by Patience. Addressing her complaints...#1 She scheduled with me to get an estimate. She came in and was given the estimate and AGREED to the work being done. Her estimate was higher because she needed to pick up the dress within a week of the estimate, and being bridal season I would have to rearrange my other customers. Because of the time frame that I was given there was no time for a follow-up fitting, also there was no need. When she picked up the dress I was told that the halter was snug, but she understood that the weight of her chest would affect the snugness of her halter, and she opted for the support for no longer than she would be wearing the dress. That proves point #2 I do have an eye for fit, the dress looked great, her sister was there and never spoke negatively about the fit either. While I do have an eye for fit, I cannot feel the fit like the person wearing the dress. According to my policy Patience should have asked me if we could loosen the halter or if there were any other options. This never happened. #3 Poor customer service. follow-up fitting. I received a call the day before the customer was to leave town, asking to come in and have the halter loosened. I told her that that would be possible, but there would be a charge. My policy states that all issues need to be resolved before she leaves the studio, therefore this would be a new alteration, and once again customers would have to be shuffled because she was leaving the next day. Patience did not give me time to tell her that the price would be minimal, instead I got a dial tone, and this negative report.
