CCA Finance CCA Credit Services Division This company falsely acquires information with the pretense of offering services that they have no intention of rendering...also sells personal information. fraudulent ripoff business Las Vegas, NV 89114-6101 Las Vegas Nevada .....

I recently via mail received a letter with a credit card enclosed. I called the company to find out what this card was for and asked about the limit. Before the agent would give me any information, she informed me that she had a script that she had to go by verbatim and could not give me any information without my name, telephone number and social security number. When I told her I did not want to give her the information, she said that she could not help me unless I gave her the information. I gave her a phone number to a relative because she assured me that her company did not give out that information and would not call if I did not want the card.

I told her then after giving her the number that I was not interested in the card, but I was interested in what kind of company it was and how they got my information considering I have not applied for credit recently. She said that they did a survey of credit applications over the last 16-18 weeks and sent out the cards to people who needed to repair their credit. I told her that I did not need to rebuild my credit, and did not want the card. I told her that I was cutting it up and I did not want any one to call me. When I told her I wasn't interested, she asked me why.

I told her quite honestly that I hadn't paid my VISA bill, and that I was positive that I would not pay them, either. She said that my reason was a good one not to want a credit card. I also said that I saw no point in having an 8000.00 credit limit on a mail order company. I ended by SPECIFICALLY requesting that they DELETE all information they acquired from me and hung up on the agent. Since then, I have had NUMEROUS calls to my relative's home with credit card offers and rude telephone agents. They have been told NOT to call and that it would be considered harrassment. Apparently, they don't seem to understand that.

I found that one of the companies trying to contact me is in Montreal, Quebec. Be smart, and don't fall for this FRADULANT company! They will sell your name and number to everyone, and you can't get the companies to stop calling. Unfortunately, Canada does not have to abide by the rules of the BBB, and they don't seem to be familiar with the FDCPA, either. If you receive something in the mail from this company, DO NOT CALL THEM. Instead, take the return address envelope and send them ALL YOUR JUNK MAIL. That should pass along the idea that you're not interested.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, its paid for!

CCA/CCS Las Vegas Ripoff

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sun, August 19, 2007

I have read complaints by people about CCA/CCS of Las Vegas with their "credit card" and am sure they are all true. I used to work for them for a short time. As I went along, it became obvious to me that it was obvious they are a scam and I quit. They are just stealing money from people who cannot afford it. I could not in all good conscience work for a company like that. They have no shame and will continue as long as they can get away with it
