Carnival Cruise Lines ripoff, Charge high prices for beverages, shore excursions, and souveners Miami Florida
During a cruise wht Carnival, they take pictures all the time then if you purchase a photo, you have to purchase the copy from them. They charge overly absobent fees for drinks. $2.50 for coke, and $7.00 or more for drinks.
While enroute to a port, they push that you need to get a shore excursion from them. They only recomend places that give kickbacks to the cruise line. In Cozemel, people paid in exces of $80.oo to snorkel from a catamaran. The boat pick them up and took them to the same place people paid Half that to snorkel from shore. Lots of people complained on the cruise about the prices. At the Carnival web site, they don't list shore excursion pricing. Any thing you purchase on the ship you buy 3 to 4 time as much as you would on shore. My advice, save your money and vacation at the places the ships take you. forget pay their prices.

So, bring your own 6 pack of soda on board. Book your shore excursions on the internet with a local company and if it's too expensive don't buy stuff on the ship. Do your research before you sail. Also, you can buy one picture and get copies when you get home, i have done them at Wal mart and Wal greesn, they have no trademark on the back. These are things that happen at all attractions. Think of the price you pay for parking, soda and a hot dog at a major league game/ concert/show etc. it's not Carnival it's entertainment.
