Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
After researching for a moving company to move our household goods from CA to HI, I hired Cardinal Moving System because they offered me the best price in comparison to other moving company, storage in HI for up to 30 days, not to mention the multiple phone calls I received from Frank Rivera, Erika White and couple other customer service convincing me to use their company. In short I was basically manipulated!

My initial experience was good too good to think of it. I should have known something was wrong the minute a "Rental Van" arrived in my driveway. When the movers arrived, I specifically explained to them that I had kept the boxes of my high value items open and described the contents. I also told them that I laid out the electronics that so that the movers can make note of the serial number of the items as this was the instructions I was given. They were nice about it and they even offered to wrap the electronics I had laid out free which I thought was generous of them because from what they explained this was additional cost.

After the movers completed moving my belongings to the truck, I was informed of additional charges, I was taken back by the additional cost which no one ever mentioned upfront, I was left helpless since now all my belongings have been packed in the truck. As I questioned the mover (Joe) which by the way was very intimidating, he simply responded saying it was due to overage in the container??? he breezed over the documents pointed on areas I need to initial and sign. Prior to leaving he asked for TIP $300 to be exact. They left boxes, wrappers/blanket and tapes in my house and did not bother to pick up their mess.

When my belongings arrived in HI, I was informed that they needed to delver my goods that very next day. I asked if I can reschedule for another day as it was raining hard and I would also need to request for time off since it was last minute, but I was told that I would have to pay for storage????I told the driver that I was promised that I had up to 30 days for delivery they were confused and had no knowledge about it.

When my household goods arrived that very next day, the boxes were wet, some were damaged, many things went missing including the high value items and the electronics that I had disclosed to the drivers which they also packed for me.

I frantically contacted CMS customer service I was given emails whom I should refer my claims to. I was in contact with Ledia and Lee who promised that they would do an investigation, I provided them with the list of items including pictures of the items that are missing along with the claim form. I followed up after five weeks of not hearing anything back only to get a respond saying that they were not able to locate my lost items instead I was instructed to file yet another lost claim which I had previously done 5 weeks ago with them.

Since filing my claim, I have not receive any feedback from CMS. This has been the worst experience I have had with a company. I ended up spending tree times what I was quoted not including the missing items which easily totals over seven thousand dollars. I am so overwhelmed with frustration/anger/ and I personally feel this company would lie to you to get your business but once they have your money your on your own. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE CARDINAL MOVING SYSTEMS
