Received call from telemarketer telling me that if I agreed to receive a free trial travel package that I would receive free airline tickets for everyone in my family (4), even if I only kept the package for the 14-day trial period. Was told that if I cancelled the membership within the trial period time my checking account WOULD NOT be charged and I would STILL receive the free airline tickets, I stupidly agreed and gave out my checking account info; the guy on phone also said that he was recording everything for the Better Business Bureau, which made me feel more comfortable, boy,do they really know the tricks to screw people.

I didn't think I was that naive of a person. So I received my Travel Memebership package within a week and I didn't even look at it (I just wanted some free airline tickets since I'm getting married in 4 mnths, thought it would help out with the honeymoon), only to find how to return it and how to cancel my membership. The following day I sent the membership package back along with a written request to cancel my membership knowing that the package would have more than enough time to arrive back to Florida within the 14-day trial period time.

This morning I pulled up my internet banking, and sure enough, there was that $59.95 charge to my checking account that was NOT suppose to be there, I called my bank, there was a toll-free number attached to the debit which I called but only reached a recording telling me to enter my phone number and once it was found in their system it gave me the option the either activate or cancel my membership which, of course, I chose to cancel, and then was given a recording stating that my checking account would no longer be debited, but I'm wondering now if they were really even able to track my membership info just by me inputting my home telephone number.

I'm guessing that I could've put any old number in and would've STILL received the same recording. I'm going to my bank first thing Monday morning and they are helping me file some kind of a fraudulent debit report and will help me get my money back. Until then I will continue to search for more info about this company and harrass the hell out of them until I get my refund!
