Capital First Benefits Inc ripoff Miami Florida
On July 12 I recieved a phone call from a lady with an offer for an unsecured mastercard plus benefits. For $29.95 they would draft from my checking account they would send me my welcome package. She said 7 days after I recieved my package I would be charged an addotional $59.95 then$99.95 for membership and to get started. She said it would help build up my credit. So I agreed and gave her all the information she needed. I
recieved my package on July 22 I was also billed the$59.95 and the $99.95 the exact same day. I called the customer service number given in case I wanted to cancel my card and demanded my money because they were breach of contract. Also by them taking the money before they were suppose to it cause me to be charged a service charge for insufficent funds. The man said he could only refund me the $99.95. I demanded that I be refunded everything including the $25 service charge. He refused.
On August 15 I was notified by my bank that a draft of $54.95 had been taking from my account. I called the phone number that was my statement to find out who this was taking money without my permission.The lady who answered said that CapitalFirst had turned my checking acct. number over to them because they said I had agreed to an additional bonus auto club membership and phone card(that I did not).I argued with her because she kept switching her story around has to how she got my number and who gave her permission to use it.
I notified the Federal Trade Commision and the Better Business Burea of southeast Florida and filied a complaint. I also spoke to a local attorney who told me this was to big for him to handle. So please help me. I work to hard for my money for an unethical business to take it away.
