I HAD A CREDIT CARD WITH NEXTCARD IN 2001. I SETTLED WITH A COMPANY CALLED CAMCO AND THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS ALL TAKEN CARE OF. RECENTLY I APPLIED FOR A LOAN AND WAS DENIED BECAUSE NEXTCARD CHARGES ARE APPEARING ON MY CREDIT REPORT. UNFORTUNATELY, CAMCO NO LONGER EXISTS AND I CANNOT CALL THEM.

I CALLED NEXTCARD AT 877-875-8078 AND WAS DIRECTED TO A COMPANY CALLED PLATINUM RECOVERY AT 1-800-933-7301. THEY THEN TOLD ME TO CALL 1-866-290-9235 WHERE ALL I GOT WAS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE. IF ANYONE OUT THERE KNOWS HOW I CAN GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE AND CLEAR THIS UP, I WOULD BE GREATFUL.
