Buyloud Almost one year of lies, now they owe me consumer rip-off fraud BBB couldnt do anything for me San Fernando California
Ive been dealing with buyloud since 4/15/02. I searched the net for good deals and found them to be quite reasonable. Little did i know this would be the worst mistake of my life.
I had ordered two 12" Orion XTRPRO Subwoofers on the date listed above. The site states only 2-5 business days for delivery, excluding sat and sun. I let about 2 weeks go by and then contacted them by their first of three different phone numbers. The original to my knowledge being the one i listed above. They told me, like ive read from others, that my products are on back order and that i should receive them within the next two to three weeks.
Finally after one more call and many times of being put on hold for way too long, i received my products on 5/21/02. Happy as hell, i hooked them up and couldnt wait to pound the crap out them.
Again, little did i know, but one of them was a dud. It did not work. So i called them to tell them everything i did with connections was correct and that their product was bunk. "Send it back and we'll have it looked at and sent back, give us at least 4 weeks." they tell me. To make this short, i spoke with a sales rep from Orion and they never heard of buyloud and said that they should not be selling their products, buloud does not have that authorization to do so. She asked for the serial numbers under the magnet of the speaker. Neither was stolen or lost product, but the merchandise was from 2001, year old products.
I have gone through hell over this last year trying to contact them via phone, email, whatever i could possibly do and i have ended up right back where i started. One positive thing about this is, i still have the other speaker, but the downside is they have 407.95 dollars already spent of my money and i only have 200.00 dollars worth of product.
I almost gave up, but i figured id give it one more chance and then what do i see, no number, and now no website. Luckily i found you guys and im glad i did. Please post this so everyone can see they are not the only ones.
Buyloud was the biggest rip off since Watergate and i fell for it. Id like to say live and let learn, but we need some justice. To Everyone who associated themselves with these crooks, i feel your anger and sadness, Thanks for reading.
Oh and the BBB couldnt do anything for me either. I have an order status, receipt, and saved emails. from 4/15/02 to 2/24/03 and nothing but, well, nothing pretty much sums it up.
