What a joke!
There was never a sale person for this company! The showroom was not even set up! There was no inventory! Buck took people money & then doesn't deliver the products! Check out the Better Business Bureau report on this company: it is rated an "F"... with so many complaints against it...
Also, the lawsuits are all public information. If anyone is that curious, they should go to the websites of the Riverside county, Orange county, San Diego county SUPERIOR COURTS & they can totally search for themselves the court records.
I hope that everyone should get together and file a class action against this crook to stop him from doing the same thing again. If anyone happened to know if he already opened another new company, do everyone else a favor by posting a reply on here to notify the rest of the world... He must be stopped!

It is unfortunate that Ripoff Report.com does not contact the businesses or persons being "reported" prior to posting a slanderous bog.claim. What is to prevent any ex-employee from posting untruths about his/her boss after being terminated? This is exactly what has happened here. This is our rebuttal to the second posting by the same disgruntled ex employee who we had to terminate several months ago for cause. First it is necessary to provide a brief explanation of the termination of this now ex employee: the individual/employee in question was late three times before no-showing three straight work days in a row. On one of these work days this employee was supposed to attend a mandatory meeting/walk-through for an upcoming school district bid we were to participate in; but, because this employee was a no-show at the meeting we were unable to participate in the bid. Needless to say, this employee cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential business. We had no choice but to let this individual go. And we can assure you this employee was fully compensated for time worked. No money is owed to this individual or any of our clients, or vendors, for that matter. In response to the claims made about the poor business practices of Business Furniture International, and John Buck, the list of claims and lawsuits are entirely inaccurate. We have never heard of most of the businesses this individual listed, with the exception of one of the companies listed, which was a refurbished furniture company that John Buck sold in the 1990's; he sold this particular company, for a good profit, when made the transition from refurbished furniture to new furniture. There is also one law suit listed which we were actually involved in some time ago, but that was settled, and in our favor. The list of bogus law suits, etc., recently posted on this site, was actually also emailed out to a list of our business associates and clients (this ex employee downloaded the email addresses of clients and vendors illegally, from our in-house computer network, and created a fictitious BFI email address from which the letter was later sent). We have retained both a lawyer and an investigator who are involved in prosecuting this particular individual to the full extent of the law; local law enforcement officials have also been aiding us in prosecuting this individual. As we have said to our associates, and clients, and as we said in response to the last report this individual filed with this website, if you have any questions and or concerns regarding our business practices we would be more then happy to talk with you personally. Please send any such questions and or concerns to [email protected] and we would be happy to open up a line of communication. Sincerely, Business Furniture International, LLC
