Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I loaned the representatives of bug champion pest control $5000.00 which was to be repaid to me within six months with a return of $2500.00.As soon as the six months was up I was told I'd have to accept payments or nothing (not the deal)!!!!!It has been a year now and im still owed $4300.00 and havnt received a payment in about four or five months.I was just about to file a lawsuit (I have a signed and notorized agreement)when i came across this web-sight.

As you know, litigation is expensive, time consuming, and i would feel little satisfaction from receiving payments from these people when the agreement was for my money all at once in six months. If you could help me without going to small claims i will be astonished.I did'nt like hearing "go ahead and sue"!!

This email is a rebuttal to RipOff #5528. It was sent by Law Fanatic at [email protected]. bug champion pest control refuses to repay loan (#5528) They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Law Fanatic Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: Check the laws in your state regarding interest on loans; your 50% interest rate for a six-month loan probably exceeds the legal limit and so, according to a recent case on People's Court, if you try to charge interest in excess of what is legal in your state, you are entitled to NO INTEREST, only the initial loan amount. In other words, if you go into court, know in advance what the legal amount of interest is for your state and only ask for that amount because if a judge gets his/her hands on the inflated interest rate then, according to People's Court legal consultant Harvey Levin, Esq., the judge will not lower your interest due to the proper amount but, rather, deny you any interest at all. Just a helpful suggestion, and good luck in your attempt to recover! EDitor's Comment to the above Consumer Suggestion:::: Because they are not an actual lending institution and this was an investment/seed money to help build the business, that rule may not apply. A call to almost any lawyer in your state would know that answer to that.
