Budget/Avis Rent A Car is scamming customers by pursuing fraudulent claims against customer credit card and car insurance for preexisting damage of their rental vehicles. Pervasive schemes targeting customers who waive Budget insurance. Bullying and intimidation and extortion go all the way to corporate headquarters CEO Ronald L. Nelson, CFO David Wyshner and Veronica Weston 973-496-3465 in Parsippany, NJ. 
File complaints with Better Business Bureau, Insurance Commissioner, and Attorney General's office for each state, and contact NJ Consumer Affairs for a record of ongoing complaints against the unethical company.

Budget is under investigation for fraud for all North America operations.

I would like to inquire about your complaint with attorney general? Is it ongoing or has it been settle? I wished there was a way to communicate with you. I will keep an eye out on this site and hope for answer. I am a former employee with knowledge of company condoning shady unethical business practices. Tons of testimonies of former employees disclosing sells tactics of locations. Customer service agents dealing with irate customers complaining of cfalse charges such as cleaning fees being added on at car check in. Smoking charges when customer doesn't smoke and only person in vehicle for duration of rental. Pictures of cig. Butts in ashtray was not there when customer pick up vehicle. Planting evidence and photographing it to prove or validate charges.

At one time customer service would adjust charges off but now customer service department has directive to stand by charges. It's one thing to cheat people and 1/10 customers calls bluff and company makes it right by adjusting charges off but now to just plain cheat customer and when caught , not even adjust the charges off is just plain stupid. People are going to talk and the more the word spreads the more collective force and focused on bringing this company to justice. They think they are untouchable, very narcissistic attitude the whole company has that blinds them with greed overpowering common sense that they are driving customers away. Sad thing is after reading this site it seems all car rental companies are crooked. Too. They have same attitude as cell phone companies , some retail companies that the loss of a customer to competitor is ones gain because the circle of retail completes its self.

Each company pisses off a customer going to next company and ring around the Rosie we go until a full circle has been made, few years down the road you return because number one company starts to see a decline in customer base so they offer to good of a deal gaining you back. Hey companies , here is a bright idea give the best price, quality product, stand behind it, great customer service to the point that you as a company may take a loss on a return but the payout is a lifetime of loyalty and commitment to your company. Paying so much more to the longevity of ongoing repeat revenue from not only them but their friends and family. If a company takes this stand they will take all the customer base. By the time another company pulls head out of southplans , it will be to late.
