Sells jewelery on Ebay. I inquired about a custom job, Owner John stated that he was the man for the job.

Before purchasing, we came to an agreement on price, an agreement on how long it would take, and an agreement on the work , all materials that were to be used, and what the appearance would be like on the final product.

Once the "due date" was up when I was to receive the ring, I received an email saying a problem occured and I wouldnt be getting it on time.

2nd "due date" determined and expired, still no product. Finally received it a month later, the agreement was 2 weeks.

Ring showed up "floating" around in a cheap box, not your typical pillow type ring box, in an envelope from Chang Xiang or similar Chinese named business.

I open ring, !st thing I notice is this ring is nowhere near the pictures or his depiction of its size and quality and the engraving I had done was terrible, the bead work I had done was microscopic, the inscription inside was off center and didnt fit.

The sizing looked as though it was cut with a pair of bolt cutters and welded.

The setting holding the diamond (4) prongs, not one prong was like the others, giving it an crooked look.

This was the worse example of custom jewelery making I have ever seem, and I paid as much as you would at a known jewelery store. I had to pay extra in shipping because he messed it up to try and help make my dead-line, over $80 just over nighting stuff.

I got ahold of him and told him(John the owner) my concerns, he asked me to send it back for him to look at it. That he would correct it. I said ok, how long will this take? (Mind you, I had plans to propose on my vacation, that I didnt get to do because the ring never made it on time) He told me he had no idea how long it would take. I told him the ring would have to be completely remade, he said to just send it....well, after already being down this road paying for shipping, even thought the website says free shipping. I said no thanks, he offered to buy the ring back...but only the value of the gold (spot price) I paid alot for just a setting, I supplied the center stone. His other solution was to "give me a deal" on more jewelry he sells, this stuff is junk, hes a headache to work with, why would I want more? I asked him to refund my shipping, and to refund the extra charge of the inscription. 2 months later and after several emails from me trying to get him to respond, I received $100.

Do yourself a favor, do not do business with this place. Its not worth the hassle. The quality is crap at best. I have a suspicion its Chinese, even though he states its made in Israel. Completely disappointed.

He sells alot on Ebay so please be careful dealing with this place

Retracting my statement about Brillianteers

In my frustration I wrote this report against Brillianteers. It ended up just being a communication error between John and I. John is actually great to work with. He has since gone above and beyond to correct all errors. I have submitted for this report to be removed but wanted to make sure in the mean time anyone reading this would know. Dont be afraid to do business with this company. I think I may have rushed them and to meet my needs the communication barrier was slightly deteriorated. Again, all problems were corrected and I am happy.
