HOAX REPORT

#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

Sat, December 16, 2017

I am the individual being reported and I am the owner/auctioneer of Sunset Auction Co based in Miami FL. That much is true.

I am a member of the National Auctioneers Association as well as the Florida Auctioneers Association where we take pride in our honesty & integrity within the industry.

My website is no secret and appears on numerous search engines when searching for auctioneers in Miami area. On my page is a bio, phone contact & mailing address as well as my license information. Any advertising that I have done for previous auctions list my name, web address, phone contact & license info as well so that information is out there for the public to see at any time.

This report is a hoax for a variety of reasons.

1. While I previously used to do consignment auctions and take items from clients to sell, I have not taken any consignments for close to 10 years as my auction business moved in a different direction. I now ONLY work with ENTIRE estates from 1 party or ENTIRE businesses that close & need to liquidate everything. Glen's report was written in Nov of 2017 for which NO consignment auctions have been held for many years.

2. Asside from the Estate or Business liquidation auctions that I take as Sunset Auction Co., my other aution opportunities exist while I work as a contractor for other auction firms selling salvage vehicles, storage units or bankruptcy assets. NONE of which are consignments either.

3. The spelling of my name is incorrect on his complaint. Any form, contract, advertising, website, business card or other way that I am found or identified has my name spelled correctly as Bryan Kinsley.

4. I have been in business for 17 years & have prided myself as being an honest & repsectable auctioneer & auction company. I have never & will never use any shills (shields as reported) in the audience to drive up bidding.

5. I can provide refferences for the times that I was doing consingment auctions. They will clearly state that any monies due to them were promptly paid out within 2 weeks of the auction being completed with clear statements of what was due and any fees charged.

6. Finally, my Florida Auctioneers license is AU2656. This information is also posted on my card, website & any previous advertising for a specific auction. The license listed as OR4 is also tied to my name by the state of Florida, however it is ONLY found on the myfloridalicense.com website. It has NO bearing in any legal usage. It is not recognized as any type of license that we as auctioneers are allowed to use for any reason. If a person had a legitimate complaint, they would have all of my information directly in front of them from any correspondence or contract that was in place. They would not need to search for a licnese number that has no bearing unless they happen to be phishing for information.

I am confident that this is a scam by someone or some entity that may post these types of reviews purposely so that they can then call you later on and try to "clear up negative online reports" for a fee.

I welcome any documentation from "Glen" that supports his claim. If this were real, that party would be able to supply a contract stating what the item was that was consigned. It would also list an auction date and any terms related to the sale.

I also welcome any comments that may related to this claim or other auction activities.
