Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Brian Bolger and his business Downtown Consulting Services of Santa Monica rented me a condo he owns in Seattle, WA. His business (a scam, btw) isn't as lucrative as he'd like so he frequently called me before the rent was due to deposit it "early." I complied because I'm a nice person.

I moved out two months ago. He has dodged returning my deposit. He has lied to me about being in London (a friend of his "slipped" and confessed to having seen him in LA a few days prior), he's lied about working at Google (they have no record of him) and he's lied about graduating from the University of Notre Dame (Registrar cannot find anyone by that name even attending the school).

I addition, the new tenant he found recently came into some money and PAID him and ENTIRE year of rent up front.

This guy now has the funds, so why won't he return my $1500? (which was legally supposed to be kept in a special account per Washington State law).

Do NOT do business with this guy. He is a crooked liar.

I am the business owner of Downtown Consulting Services in Los Angeles California. I rent out a property that has nothing to do with my company. This is a tenant who was panicked about receiving her deposit money- which she did without missing a penny. I have a copy of her apologetic email which I will list below. I want this to serve as a reminder that simply because it is on the net- doesn't mean that it's always true or substantiated. Thank you. Brian B Brian, I am in agreement with the fact that you did return my deposit after your return from London. I have asked for removal of the posting I put up prior to clearing up our miscommunication about when/where/how the deposit would be returned. Please try to understand that things became complicated during this timeframe due to my own money issues, dealing with a restraining order against my co-tenant in #63 and my business partner being out on surgery leave. I probably jumped the gun on all this and should have waited for you to come through. I hope that we can both move on from this stressful time and that you can accept my apology for any damage you feel I have caused. Sincerely, Gillian

This tenant was venting her frustration for having to wait for a deposit check which she received.

I own a condo in Seattle and rented the apartment to a Gillian Kaiser who was a very good tenant and was deligent in paying the rent on time. When it came time to leave however I needed to to assess the apartment and make sure that the new tenant didn't discover any damages. I sent many emails which I still have on file to communicate this to her and yet she decided in her wisdom to file a very hateful and false record of who I am which costed me a very lucrative job offer in England over $1500 in rental deposit??? Her email is as follows: Brian, I am in agreement with the fact that you did return my deposit after your return from London. Sincerely, Gillian I am however apologetic to anyone who has the misfortune of reading this posting. My business- Downtown Consulting Services has absolutely nothing to do with renting out a condo and should not be held accountable for these accusations.

Although I was sceptical of Brian's ability to deliver, it appears that we had a misunderstanding. When he was able, he did make good on his commitment to return my deposit. My apologies to him for any consternation I may have caused. Thanks!
