Brian Auto Repair a Smashing Rip off *REBUTTAL Owner of company
I had taken my car to a local garage to have a cam gear replaced. My car ran fine when I took it there. I just wanted the gear to be replaced, for a pma. It did have a slight knock, but nothing that was detrimental to driving. I wanted to drive it to Florida next month and I diddn't want any problems.
I have a 1984 buick century, with a 2.5 liter engine. I had to leave that morning for Florida. I was told that it would take 2 - 2 1/2 hrs. and $100.00. I said ok but my wife would have to pick up the car after work. I got a call later that night on my cell saying that they were having problems repairing it. My wife was without a car for the whole time that I was in Florida. They called me on my cell in Florida and told me that they would not be able to fix it.
I went back to the garage when I got home and found the engine was torn apart for some time. They told me that they would have a friend help them, and it would be done at 8:00 tonight. I noticed that the bumper was dented. When I asked them how it happened, they told me that they don't know. I was called at 6:30 and told that the car was ready to go. When I got there they told me that the engine was junk and that I should get another one. Not only did it not run when I got there, It was wrecked on the passengers door(2nd time). The police were involved. It wouldn't even run long enough to get to my garage. I am very unsatisfied!! There is more to tell but not enough time.
