UPDATE 12-14-2020:  Following up on the prior entry, Ripoff Report has since learned the following:

Nov. 19, 2019: The Supreme Court of Oklahoma (another state in which Bradley A. Pistotnik was licensed to practice law in) in State ex rel. Oklahoma Bar Association v. Pistotnik, 2019 OK 74, Case No. SCBD-6859, entered an order on November 18, 2019 for the “IMMEDIATE INTERIM SUSPENSION” of Bradley Alan Pistotnik following the receipt of the Indictment, Information, Plea Agreement, and Judgment in a Criminal Case, in the matter of United States of America v. Bradley A. Pistotnik, Case No. 18-CR-10099-01-EFM, in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas wherein on October 15, 2019 Pistonik pled guilty to three Accessory After the Fact charges. On October 16, 2019, the Court sentenced Pistotnik to a fine of $375,000; $55,200 in restitution, and a $300 assessment which was all due immediately. You can read more about this on Justia.com.

Nov. 24, 2020: The Supreme Court of Oklahoma failed to be amused by Mr. Pistotnik’s actions when it apparently, according to information contained on Justia.com, ordered Respondent (Brad A. Pistotnik) to be “SUSPENDED FOR TWO YEARS AND ONE DAY” and “ORDERED TO PAY COST” on November 24, 2020 The Court opinion outlines the story, and points out that Mr. Pistotnik “has been previously disciplined in the State of Kansas on five occasions” but were “more than two and three decades” ago. The Court when on to state that Mr. Pistotnik’s “misconduct reflected on the [Oklahoma Bar Association] and brought disrepute on the legal professional (sic) as a whole” and suggested that “[e]ven following his guilty plea and conviction, [Brad Pistotnik] does not show sincere remorse aside from the embarrassment his actions have caused him and his family.” The Court further explained, “[b]ecause [Brad Pistotnik] will be suspended for a period exceeding two years, reinstatement is not automatic” which means that when he applies for reinstatement of his license to practice law he will have to satisfy certain requirements and present “stronger proof of his qualifications than a person seeking admission for the first time.” Mr. Pistotnik also was ordered to pay costs in the amount of $2,465.40 within 90 days of the Court’s opinion.

Between the fines/restitution assessed back in 2019 in the criminal case ($430,500.00) and the costs imposed this month by the State of Oklahoma ($2,465.40), this appears to be a hard/expensive lesson for Mr. Pistotnik. But for these life choices, Mr. Pistotnik could have already paid for another nice Lambo. May this be a lesson to him and others who may find themselves in similar positions. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Ripoff Report celebrates another victory against the illegal, unethical, and anti-American schemes to destroy free speech for common people by threats, extortion, hacking, and perversion of justice. The United States Attorney’s Office for Kansas has indicted two people for extortion perpetrated against RipoffReport.com. 

Brad “The Bull” Pistotnik is a Personal Injury attorney in Wichita, Kansas who is said to be known for his silly commercials; often depicting him on the back of a long horned bull.

In response to the news about Pistotnik (more on that below) one Twitter user called his commercials: “quality entertainment” and opined that Pistonik reminded her of “Saul from Breaking Bad” because he has “a catchphrase and [is] shady af.”  If you aren’t sure what “af” stands for, insert the words “as f*ck.”  Ouch!  The same Twitter user even made the claim that she knew of a couple that went to him but later decided against hiring him “because Pistotnik wanted them to falsify certain elements to sue a hospital for more money.”  Do we know if these statements made by the Twitter user are true or not? No, we do not.  But there is a reason that many personal injury attorneys can have bad reputations…and it appears that Pistotnik’s reputation may not have been that great. 

Someone even posted a review about him on Ripoff Report at Report #1177867 that, among other very critical things, suggests that you’re better off hiring Pistotnik’s brother.  Of course, as we stated before, we have no idea if any of these statements about Pistotnik are true or not because we didn’t write them in the first place BUT given the recent 10 Count Indictment filed July 17, 2018 against him (Bradley A. Pistotnik) and fellow co-defendant, David Dorsett, it may make one pause for consideration and encourage more due diligence on the part of consumers.  Another Twitter user, in response to a news article about the Indictment said “Whoa.  And yet… somehow I’m not surprised as much as I think I should be.

So what happened?  Short version: A negative posting about Pistotnik went up on Ripoff Report and, according to the Indictment, Pistotnik and Dorsett, with the intent to extort…[threatened] to cause damage to a protected computer” by sending Ripoff Report email messages stating “Remove this page and we stop” and “if you don’t remove it we will begin targeting your advertisers and explain that this will stop happening to them once they pull their ads from ripoffreport.com or ripoffreport.com kills this page.”  What are the Counts being alleged by the Federal government? The Indictment lists out Fraud in connection with Computers (relating to three different victims – two websites, including RipoffReport.com, and a law firm utilized on occasion by Ripoff Report); Conspiracy to commit Fraud in connection with Computers; and False Statements.  Not that any of this was a good idea, but come on…one should know that it’s a bad idea to lie to the FBI.  Yeah, you read that right.  It is alleged that Pistotnik LIED to the FBI!  Who fricken does that?!?  Apparently, if the indictment is correct and he really said “tell me how we get rid of it” referring to the Report on Ripoff Report, Pistotnik does.

On August 1, 2018, news station KWCH12 reported that Pistotnk and Dorsett both pled NOT GUILTY to the charges outlined in the indictment.  It’s hard not to read all this and feel like Pistotnik and Dorsett are living out a modified version of the lyrics to the 2000 reggae/pop song by Shaggy called “It Wasn’t Me.” 

Trial in this matter is currently set for early this fall.  We hope that the full truth, whatever that ultimately ends up being, will be revealed and justice will be served in accordance with the same.

One final note:  Illegal schemes to remove posts on Ripoff Report are unfortunately common and can result in criminal prosecutions, lawsuits, and all kinds of other trouble for the people who try them.  The indictment against Pistotnik and Dorsett is only one of many questionable activities relating to content removal being investigated by Ripoff Report and/or the authorities. We are ALWAYS watching…and it’s only a matter of time before people get caught and into trouble.  Do yourself a favor…don’t be like “The Bull.”
