Buyer Beware of Body of Change @ LA Fitness
I am an ex employee of Body of Change (training general manager)
Body of Change does not care about its clients, it is a mill to SELL training to unwitting people who get douped into needing a trainer to "guide them". If you need a personal trainer please do research on who you are looking to hire. BOC is only there to lock people in to long term contracts so they are now paying absorbant rates for training, plus paying for the GYM membership also.
To top it off the trainers only make $6 per session, not even close to industry standards. For the most part trainers are very young and inexperianced, that is not to say that they do not have good trainers, some, very few, are gifted trainers. Please do not fall into the trap, you will be charged no matter what, the contracts are iron clad, so ther is no getting out of it, you get charged wheter you use sessions or not. They use High pressure sales tactics, that are drilled into every "assistant manger" to con potential clients into signing a contract that affords them nothing but headaches, Cancel your credit card that they are using because it wont stop the billing, complain to the state department about unfair business pratices, if you go to the BBB it will resolve nothing, the BBB is paid to tell you what the company wants you to hear. Please head this advice from an ex training general manager, I trained some of the best scammers in the gyms today!!
