There is some news going on right here in Phoenix that I feel the car buying public should know about. So I took the time to release this information to a local TV station in great detail. I told this TV station all about what some of these car dealers are doing that could prevent new car buyers from getting safety re-calls from the car makers.

I told this TV station what I was told to do when I was selling cars. One Nissan dealer made it real clear what they wanted their car salesmen to do to the unhappy new car buyers. This car dealer did not want their unhappy new car buyers to get a car maker's C.S.I. survey, Better known as a ( Customer Satisfaction Indext Survey ) You might car it a new car dealer report card.

What these car dealers are doing is called C.S.I. Diversion. In other words they are sending false cantact info on the unhappy new car buyers like fake addresses and fake phone numbers to the car makers. I also have proof that this is going on across the country. What if the maker wants to inform these unhappy new car buyer of a safety re-call.

I came to the conclusion that this big TV station that has a real good video as to what these deceptive car dealers are doing is not going to air this indepth video.

So I contacted a man at the AZ Republic by the name of Bob Golfen. I told this man all about what is going on at a few local big new car dealers. I explained to him in great detail as to how these car dealers are doing this C.S.I. Diversion. I even told him that I have proof that this local TV station has a real good video that backs up what I was telling him.

Mr Bob Golfen said that he and the AZ Republic only report

" BIG STORIES" and he felt that a story like this was not a "BIG STORY"

I found out today why he did not want to touch this with a ten foot pole. He gets to test drive new cars and write Big stories on how he feels driving these new cars. I was told that he gets a new car to test drive every three or four days. What a cushy job.

I feel that he is not willing to loose this fun opportunity of playing with new cars, so this what could be life saving info will not get to the new car buyer.

Mr Bob Golfen I feel that you Suck canal water. Do you feel that test driving new cars or "PLAYING WITH NEW CARS" is more important then informing the car buying public. What a joke you are. I also feel that you will get a bunch of crap from your advertising department if you anger their big car dealer clients that spend big money on a daily basis with the AZ Republic.

I think that you feel that this deception is OK just aslong as you get to "play with new cars like you are in a toy store"

And yes I have the proof in a very safe place down town. And a copy of my proof is going to the attorney general's office, because I know they do not get big money from new car dealers.

Automotive safety recalls are usually generated by DMV records and NOT dealer records. Vehicles change hands and dealer records tend to be much less accurate than the DMV ones. On a side note: CSI Diversion, clever moniker. Of course, with the possible exception of some big department stores, car dealers are probably the largest advertisers in the local paper. Maybe Bob Goflen's addiction to new cars was irrelevant. The paper probably wouldn't want to bite the hand that feeds it.
