Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My wife, an author, has been trying to contact this agency (BigScore Productions, Inc) for months and received one general e-mail answering a question on submitting her manuscript. She had other questions before submitting, but subsequent e-mails were never answered. She decided to go ahead and submit the manuscript based on the limited information from the answer she received in the first e-mail and from submission instructions on the agency's website.

After months of waiting for a reply to other e-mails, my wife called this agency and regrets ever attempting to do business with them. The man that answered the phone was one of the rudest, most obnoxious persons my wife has ever dealt with, and he was short/abrupt in his conversation and hung up on my wife without really trying to talk to her (and, no, my wife wasn't arguing with the man because he only talked to her for less than a half a minute).

When I got home today and found out how this person treated my wife, I called the number she gave me and obviously reached the same person (he never identified himself to my wife or me). I got the same abrupt, rude, hang-up (slam!) treatment from this same man before I could even get a conversation started. (I say the same person because my wife listened to my conversation and identified him as the same one that talked to her earlier).

My wife reached this agency from a Christian website that touted this agency as a Christian literary agency and one that was friendly and easy to work with. After this company's treatment of my wife (and me, but mainly my wife), I would never recommend anyone attempt to do business with them. They are the epitome of non-professionalism.

My wife has talked to many agencies and publishers in her career and has always been treated with respect and professionally, even by those who were not interested in talking to her (the nature of the writing business, professional rejection, of course).

I will monitor this report if anyone has any questions or comments. Thanks for listening!
