On 2/23/2013: A simple purchase of 4 brand new tires from Big O Tire store# 6221 turned into a catastrophic nightmare. I shopped around online until I came upon a deal that was too good to be true.  I purchased new Tires at Big-O Tires for my 2005 Lincoln Aviator during my one hour lunch break from work and had to pay for a broken value/Tire Pressure Sensor combo.

The technician(s) removed all 4 valve stems to quickly release air from tires breaking 1 of the 4 valve stems in which was connected directly to the tire pressure sensor. Zach Theriault: the so-called manager / shop technician blamed the broken tire pressure sensor/value stem combo on "normal wear and tear" while he was screwing off 1 of the 4 valve stems and I would have to purchase another one either through Ford or from within their local Big-O Tires Store.  They tried to use a regular generic valve stem instead of a compatible value stem minus tire pressure sensor from Ford causing my tire pressure sensor indicator light on my dashboard to go crazy.

I purchased a new Ford compatible tire pressure sensor/value stem combo from their Big-O location due to the extreme circumstances of having to return to work and not having room for further debate nevertheless- time to screw around arguing any longer with the Manager: Zach Theriault of Big-O tires Store# 6221 after he refused to allow me to talk with the store owner. This guy (Zach Theriault), even refused to allow me to speak with his boss/store owner!

As a result, I left upset and on my way without forgetting the damage Big-O Tires Store# 6221 had inflicted to my Lincoln.  Simply, when Big O Tires Store# 6221 performed work on my vehicle and broke a completely good valve stem, then they shall own it by paying for the broken valve stem.  Personally and as a customer, I hold Big O Tires Store# 6221 responsible for reimbursement of the part (i.e. Tire pressure sensor) in which they broke through negligence.

About one month later, Big O Tires Store# 6221 story changed once my attorney got involved. Instead of stating it was normal wear and tear, they said the breakage was a result of the corrosion of chemicals used on the roads in Colorado during snow removal.  Anyone who owns a Lincoln Navigator or Aviator knows they are Ford's premium line of vehicles.  For starters, the valve stem portion is made up of a hard metal wrapped around thick rubber.

Therefore, Ford does not use cheap tire pressure sensors or valve stem combos on any of these vehicles and the only way road chemical could corrode, such a valve stem is if the valve stem itself was internally exposed to the roads' chemicals from lack of using valve stem covers.  Simply, they do not just break.  My vehicle has always had all 4 valve stem covers screw on tight in which was noticed by Big-O Tires store# 6221.

Nevertheless, Big O Tires Store# 6221 falsely passes the blame to collect their $100.  I run a business employing over 3800 employees in which I support, respect and consider irreplaceable in which currently have Big-O Tires because their boss has them or they have had family members whom had them.  Lets say for every one of my employees, they know at least 5 family or friends who have or use to have Big-O.  Now, lets say those 3800 X 5 = 19000 ex-Big O Tire customers becoming Firestone Customers.  Currently, my vehicle has Big-O Tires and I cannot wait to take off the Big-O brand of tires and go back to Firestone Tires.  I plan on internally promoting Firestone tires among my employees and advising  them to stay away from Big-O Tires Stores # 6221 by charging their 1st  3 Firestone tires to my company and paying their road hazard and lifetime balance and rotation.  As a result, Big-O Tires will be considered blacklisted from myself and my employees' network.

Never again, will I ever purchase nor endorse another Big-O Tire!  At least with Firestone,  I do not have to worry about ethical business practices with Firestone.  DO NOT SHOP AT BIG-O TIRES STORE # 6221 LOCATION UNLESS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE ALL 1 OR EVEN 4 NEW VALVE STEMS!

We as vehicle owners and mis-treated customers do not need to put up with this type of UNETHCIAL BUSINESS PRACTICE. Owners of companies such Big-O Tires Store #6221 fail to realize it takes one bad employee to misrepresent and unethically undermine a good business turning it into a bad business due to one customer’s experience of unethical business practices, unprofessionalism, and failed customer support.  Our goal is to stay 19000 paces away from Big-O Tires of Store# 6221 and possibly the brand: in general.  Simply, a brand of product is only as good as its service and support.
