bidz.com billed me 6 times for the same order , Internet
I tried to place an order with them, and the billing information didn't match. It was my fault- I had forgotten what phone number I used. But they still accessed my credit card 6 times and pulled out $1200.00.
If the information didn't match, they should not have touched the money. That's supporting fraudulent use of credit cards.
They are putting the money back (it takes 3 days), but I am very very concerned about the security on their website.

We would like to begin by apologizing for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Based on the information you have provided it seems that this occurred due to address verification. Meaning, the payments were denied by our system because the billing information that was entered did not match at the time the payment was being processed. When the wrong information is entered the cardholders bank places the funds on hold to see if the merchant, in this case bidz will take the funds. Because the transaction was not successful the funds were never withdrawn from the account, as mentioned previously, they were only placed on hold. When this occurs the banks usually place the funds back into the account within 24hours. However, some banks can take longer, in such cases we can try to expedite the releasing of the funds by faxing over certain documentation to the bank stating why it occurred and that we will not process the transaction.
