BBB Better Business Bureau - Rarely Practices What It Preaches
Fraud:
The BBB never ceases to amaze me. It's well known they expect all
companies, members and non-members alike, to refund a customer who is unhappy. Just give them their money back. Agree or not, the customer is always right.
How funny, now that the shoe is on the other foot, the BBB
balks at giving a refund. When it's their money, the rules don't apply.
This is just another example of why I don't trust this organization.
Rarely, do they ever follow the guidelines they set for others.
I would like to call upon the Houston Better Business Bureau to take the high road and give the company its money back. You claim to represent the standards of the business community....well, prove it.
I would also like to call upon Dan Parsons to quit using his position as a platform to launch personal and petty vendettas against companies that decide not to play your game. A company should not be penalized simply because they have high standards. Do the right thing, Dan, and give them their money back.
