I ordered a laptop online at Bestbuy.com and I chose the Dale Mabry location to pick up the purchase an hour later. The online form asked if I would have another person picking up the item and I carefully placed my employee's name on the form. When he was sent to pick up my laptop, everything ran smooth and he was about to walk out of the store with my purchase. That is when everything went wrong and he encountered a manager named Jim. He immediately brushed his employee aside and told my employee that he couldn't pick up the laptop. When I asked him to explain himself over the phone at that very moment, he was very rude and said it was now my problem. Can you imagine the anger I had because I seriously wanted to come down to the store and kick the crap out of this guy and still havent ruled that out yet. Anyway, I told this idiot that the guy's name was on the form and when I said that, he replied that he couldn't help and I can buy it elsewhere. After hearing that, I cancelled the online order and immediately ordered it again and chose the Wesley Chapel location since I know they have better customer service. Now, get this and read very carefully. When I arrived, everything went smoothly and I cared enough to share my horror story about the other store and that is when all the employees at teh counter chimed in. One used to work at the Dale Mabry location and begged for a transfer. Others were also telling me that the store has a reputation of awful customer service and talking bad about customers when they leave the store. The manager Jim at the Dale Mabry location has a habit of being rude according to one employee and she dcidn't like working around him because he made her feel uncomfortable. The Best Buy at Dale Mabry ripped me off, tried to defraud me of my money and I still haven't been refunded over it. When I called customer service 4 times in a period of one hour, I spoke to people who couldn't speak English and they weren't too kind, but still wasn't as bad as my experience with Jim the Manager. The guy is a tool and I recommend no one go there at all.
