Best Buy is not hearing my complaint correctly.  When this situation was first presented to Michael Arrighi, he stated, in writing, that there was no way he could credit my credit card account for the funds due me because of  a restriction in the Performance Service Plan that came with the video camera that I had purchased.  To refresh your memory, I purchased a camera that had obvious problems when being used and was sent to Precision Camera, the company that held the contract for warranty work for Best Buy.   There were five attempts to repair the problem, but Precision Camera could not duplicate the problem I was having.  I was willing to drive to Precision Camera to produce the problem for them to observe, but was refused this opportunity.  After many months of going back and forth, Michael gave me a take it or leave it contract with a dead line.  The contract was that I would receive a store credit only, after I mailed the video camera back to the Best Buy Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I mailed the video camera to Best Buy as instructed, overnight next day USPS.  I checked with the post office and the video camera was received at the Best Buy Headquarters.  I called Michael Arrighi about seven days later and asked where my store credit was.  In total contradiction to the contract he generated, and his previous statements that it was not possible, he put the money back on my credit card without notifying me prior.  I stated that this is not the last agreement we had in writing.  He refused to talk about it any more.

In closing, I had a contract with Michael Arrighi that he has breached and he did not have my permission at that time to credit my credit card.  The card that received the credit was closed out and I could not access the funds in any way.  I had Michael aware of this situation prior to him drawing up the contract, and that I would reluctantly accept a store credit after being told that there were no other options available to me.  His actions were illegal and I am ready to release this story to the media and I will go on You Tube and name the people affiliated with this transaction.  I have all the proof I need to show how Best Buy left me with no money and no camera.        Pete   Ledyard, Ct.
