My experience with Bernard Haldane Associates .. most report it's a rip-off
The Rip-off Report below was filed and should be deleted. The Rip-off Report is for reporting Rip-offs. This person was obviously put up to this, or it was filed by an employee of Bernard Haldane. I have been reading what some people say here about Bernard Haldane Associates.
Two months ago my daughter signed an agreement with this company. I paid the retainer that they required to begin working with her. My daughter is an adult professional who has landed on hard times and needed assistance from me. They required that I attend the meeting with her.
This made sense to me. I did not expect to get something for nothing and they had been "up front" with her that there would be a fee and they had even been pretty specific that the fee is substantial.
I went to the meeting, it was informative, and yes a sale was taking place (how else could anything happen) at the end we were given time along to discuss our decision and then we were asked to make one. We did, we also asked a lot of questions, all of them answered satisfactorily, this does not mean that the consultant (yes a VP, would you want to deal with anything less) but he was pretty honest when he didn't know.
My daughter is benefitting from the work they are doing with her, she also has a job offer on the table. It is better than anything she had before, I believe that she is not going to accept it because she wants to hold out for something better. My point in all of this is that I am an old woman. I'v been around along time and I have been "scammed"before, more than once.
Bernard Haldane is a scam only if you are uninformed and believe they can do something they cannot. Of course then you will feel dissappointed and cheated. The responsibility is yours, not one posting in this location, in my opinion, has any merit, including the rebuttabl by one of their employees (he was sarcastic and not professional (probably angry))Everyone here did not pay attention. This company has been in business a long time - it is natural for them to have some dissatisfied customers, you should worry if they do not.
Point is make your own decision, if its right for you go for it, if it isn't then get on with what is.
