Bernard Haldane Ripoff They sold me but haven't shown me RIP-OFF Columbus Ohio
I gave my $7920.00 and my hopes to Bernard Haldane in Columbus Ohio on 10/31/02. I've attended the meetings , the seminars and listened to all the bullsh*t I can take.
I hired these cons' to get me another job because in their vice presidents words, "You are very marketable and our average time to a position is 93 days, and you Mr. Robert, are well above average."
This was all in the presence of my wife. Remember you have to take your partner in to hear their line of bullsh*t. That way if you don't like the way things are going Bernard Haldane thinks they have a way out of your contract.
I've got news for them. I've filed with the BBB, the Ohio State Attorney Generals office, and am retaining an attorney.
I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK!!!!
Don't get sucked in like so many of us have.
Bernard Haldane promised me the world and have not delivered at all. Ripoff, Ripoff, Ripoff!!!

Robert, With all of these Bernard Haldane fraud complaints on the Rip-Off Report Ill bet you have a shot at a theft by deception complaint. Print off a bunch of BH scheme complaints from this site that are well written. Take those and your cancelled check or statement that shows the $7,920 statement and go see Police Chief, Brian Love, or call him at 862-4205. I think you have enough evidence to show a blatant pattern of fraud by the company and Mr. Roberts fell right in with the company plan. It won't be your word against his, your wife is your witness. Let us know if it works. TFC

You should know... the BBB Better Business Bureau was also involved in screwing me! giving false information, if I only knew!

A few other things I forgot to mention are the following, I had first checked with the BBB before signing my contract with BHA. According to the BBB, BHA has a good standing with them. I figured who else can you trust if not the BBB. Oops, guess I screwed up there too!!!
On a positive note, I called BHA corporate today and made a formal complaint with there customer service 24 hr hotline and GUESS WHAT? I got a call not 10 minutes later from the VP of the Columbus office.
Remember, she could not take the time to call me back after 5 phone calls for the last ten days. That's timely, isn't it? Next I got a call from Steve Stromp who said he would review my file and get this resolved. This should be interesting since Mr. Stromp has a degree in Media Relations. I will go to my local news networks if I don't recieve my $7920 in full soon.
I am still hopeful that the person in pain over losing their employment doesn't make the same mistake I did. People need to be able to count on institutions like the BBB to be truthful with us. I guess the BBB is more worried about their big membership dues and not the consumer. How can the BBB be honest with consumers like me when they get so much money from the businesses they monitor? How come there are over 300 Rip-off Reports on this web site about BHA and the BBB gives them a satisfactory rating!? What about standing up for what's right!!!!? The BBB should be held responsible for this. They have the complaints but never told me.
