Consumer Complaints NOT public info in all areas, despite Freedom of Information Act and State's Open Records Act

We received letters from the Oklahoma Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau of Oklahoma City stating that consumer complaints are confidential, NOT publicly available for consumers who are smart enough to do their homework before making a purchase. The BBB letter also falsely states that we went to arbitration in our dispute; we did not, and never will. (Arbitration is biased, expensive, comes with a gag order, and is also not public record, AND you can't appeal in most cases.)

In researching for our case, I met and talked with many other victims of the same company, who showed me that they filed their complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General BEFORE we bought. When we were doing our research, we were told, there are no complaints on that company. We were lied to. Do not rely on the BBB or Gov't agencies to divulge consumer complaints so you can make an informed decision. Especially in Oklahoma.
