i had bath fitter convert my bath into a shower. i am not a fan of shower doors but the rep. said how they changed and they are much easier these days to clean. well i should of stuck to my guns they are a pain to clean as always. It is hard to clean the shower it self because of the doors you have to slide one door on one side to clean one half of the shower and then slide the other half to clean the other half of the shower and the glass on the doors are a pain to keep clean. You have to clean them after each time someone takes a shower or they are dirty and spotty if i just had a shower curtain like i use to i would just throw it in the wash hang it back up and it's done. i have another full bath in my house so that is the one we use, no shower door. thanks to bath fitters i don't use my bath.

I have called them and told them that i wanted them removed and i wanted a refund for them. He said that since it has been almost woo years that he didn't think that was possible , but itold him that i called shortly after they were putr in and was told to try this cleaner and that cleaner and yes now it's two years later and i still hate the doors. i talked to a man named Rick Spencer he said that he would get back to me, but you know how that story goes, i am still waiting for him to get back to me that was over a month.

AS far as the person with the squishy floor that happened to a friend of mine in North Carolina and they had to come and replace the whole thing. she was lucky that she had quick results unlike the rest of us!

first of all i wouldn't want that ex bathfitter employee who said that the shower doors are easy to clean, clean my bathroom never mind the doors and the mold does get in the track. if it is so easy to clean then he can come and clean my doors and shower every time someone takesa shower and that would be at least four times a day. second of all mr. price was supposed to have someone come and take off the doors made an appointment and all that. i waited and waited took a half day off work finally i called and he said that they decided not to come and remove the doors because they weren't defected and felt that it could not be done flawless and it would just add fuel to the fire. nice of you to call and let me know if i didn't call him i'd still be waiting.how inconsiderate! then he went on to say that if i keep bad mouthing them that the company doesn't take this sort of thing lightly and there would be consequences and don't i have better things to do then drag there name through the mud is this what i'm going to spend my time on. oh no i'm going to spend my time on cleaning shower doors. let's get one thing straight i didn't say there was anything wrong with the product. i am just saying that when i told the sales person that i wasn't a fan of shower doors, that i had them before and i didn't like them because they were a pain to clean he should not have talked me into them saying they are much better not hard to clean blah blah blah. he should of said fine if you don't want them fine, but if you change your mind we can install them at a later date. last but not least DON'T EVER THREATEN ME AGAIN!

As an ex-installer for Bath Fitter, the Bath Fitter doors are top-of-the-line doors and are very easy to clean and have no areas for mold to form. #1- She could have purchased obscured glass, with that glass you can't see water spots, etc. #2- Why can't you stand outside the shower and have the doors closed. You then clean the outside of the doors....THEN get inside the shower, close the doors, and finally clean the inside???????? Sincerely, Roger ex-installer Bath Fitter St Louis (south)

As the manager of the Bath Fitter branch in Woburn MA, I am saddened to hear that Mrs. Geri Korecki of Cambridge, MA is dissatisfied with any aspect of her Bath Fitter experience. As a company, Bath Fitter strives to satisfy 100 percent of its customers, and we are never happy when a customer is not fully satisfied. However, we have thoroughly researched Mrs. Korecki's claim against Bath Fitter and come to the conclusion that her request for us to remove her shower doors and refund her money is an unreasonable one. Mrs. Korecki purchased the shower doors nearly two years before contacting us to express any dissatisfaction with our product. She has, in fact, admitted in two conversations that she only decided to ask for the doors to be removed and her money refunded after her friend (a satisfied Bath Fitter customer) told her that she had had a Bath Fitter system installed without shower doors. We have explained to Mrs. Korecki that, had she requested a refund within a reasonable time after her doors were installed, we would have gladly obliged. We often allow customers the freedom to change their mind, even after the Bath Fitter system has been installed. However, waiting two years to ask for a refund on a product because you don't particularly enjoy cleaning that product is unreasonable. Would an auto dealer allow you to return a white car for a full refund two years later because you didn't realize that white cars show the dirt and road grime more than darker cars? Would they give you your money back because you didn't enjoy washing your car? This is the equivalent of what Mrs. Korecki is requesting. Mrs. Korecki will probably argue that she called Bath Fitter shortly after installation and asked for advice on cleaning the doors. She did call, in Septermber of 2006, and our customer service rep suggested some cleaning solutions for her. This is a commonplace occurence with bath and shower doors. Mrs. Korecki did not contact Bath Fitter again in 2006, and only called to request a return of her product in July of this year. By then, Bath Fitter determined that her request was unreasonable. Bath Fitter offers the best guarantee in the bathroom renovation business. We extend a lifetime guarantee on our products against defects in both materials and workmanship. We rarely question a customer when they call for a service visit. But in this case, the request was not a reasonable one. Rick Spencer Branch Manager Bath Fitter Woburn, MA
