I used to work for Bank of America's so called "Office of The President". We were making a few bucks over minimum wage and were all working through third party contractors. We were NOT in the corporate office and had about as much contact with the Corpirate Office as you do. We were instructed to lie to customers left and right. We lied about EVERYTHING.
The only way a customer would know was if they took the bank to court.
It was such a mess not even managers would touch phone calls. They simply told us to tell the customer anything to get them off the phone. Some customers would send us letters and paperwork requesting to know if we held their "original" loan deeds. We didn't have about 90% of the loan documents. The bank only had the "scanned" documents which are not admissible in court. But of course we would send the customer a "copy" of a copy and LIE like it was the original documents.
I worked through a company called Wingspan Portdolio Advisors located in Carrollton Texas. We had our system rigged to show "bank of America" was calling when we called customers. None of our managers knew what the hell they were doing. The managers there, Melanie pellegrino, Justin belter, Kevin conn, were some of the most crooked and cutthroat and underhanded and devious folks you'd ever want to meet in your life in my opinion. Total shady crooks.
They were all so d**n afraid of asking Bank of America questions afraid they would lose the contract they simply preferred to commit FRAUD. They instructed the workers to do underhanded, illegal things and then try would hide behind the subordinates.
Bank of America's system had MANY HOLES an GAPS in it. Months without any activity on a customers modification, failing to record reciept of documents, giving the customers erroneous advice such as telling some they didn't have to pay their mortgage while the loan was being modified. And people being the DUMMIES they are fell for it. Hook line and sinker.
Seems to me people think just because they hear a big name, a well known name, such as Bank of America, they are talking to someone with power. They never consider these large companies have armies of underpaid, poorly trained, afraid of mgmt, no power, associates who have big sounding titles but can get absolutely NOTHING done and so they LIE and are often INSTRUCTED to lie by their managers.
Wake up. Stop being so d**n GULLIBLE. Bank of America is a SNAKE.
